In general the games is great. A lot of modes, a ton of maps thanks to the community. The entry price is 11.99£ so to be fair it is cheap. On sale it's often 5.99£. The value you can get from this game if you like competetive FPS is great. I've seen people with over 2k hours in the game. Yes there are microtransactions if you want the skins but you don't have to buy in. You get skins sometimes after a finished game as well.

There is a huge BUT. Hackers... in this game more so then in previous instalments of CS hackers are a plague and valve seems to not care about it. Recently I've played a guy who was no scoping thru smokes with a scout. Headshoting me thru walls and such. I've go on his profile on steam and he has like 30ish comments that he is hacking. My team reported him and what? After a couple of day I met him again in compettive and he is doing the same.
Valve tell my how is this possible? You have the demos that guy had at least 30+ people reporting him and nothing. It's like Valve doesn't want to ban people especially if they buy a lot of skins. The guy had some nice looking ones as well.
I've encountered a ton of hackers, reported it, postem comments on their steam profile when it was possible and yet they still are alowed to play and riun my and other people experience of the game. This is my major gripe with the game.

Yes there is the pistol balance. The Tec-9, Five-Seven and P250 should be nerfed. Yes you should be able to still kill a player with a HS but only when he doesn't have a helmet. Curently the Desert Eagle, Tec-9, Five-Seven and P250 kill with one shot HS and the M4 doesn't if you have a helmet. This needs to change. I don't mind the Deagle because it's a high risk high reward gun which is balanced with a small clip (7 bullets) and high cost (700$).
The jump scout as well needs a nerf. It's sometimes ridiculous when a player with a scout has and advantage over an awp or rifles. Especialy on Mirage T side on middle hiding behind boxes and jump shoting the guys in window or peeking short. It goes for CT when on B jump and shooting people going throug apartments. This needs a nerf.
All and all a great game but the constant hacker just killed it for me. Need a break.
If you liked beeing angry and pissed because some wanker doesn't play fair don't worry and buy it but the state the game is currently kills the competetive side in me. VALVE DO SOMETHING!
