Don't typically write reviews but the original FO games were close to my heart and as an extension, the new caretakers of FO (and Starfield, obviously) deserve a review in my opinion. I rarely have the interest to continue a game past 50-80 hours and the only other game that's really held my interest this long is BG3.

I find Starfield fun enough to the point that I'm going to replay it through NG+; which I never really do. I'm also using the DLSS and Frame Gen mods from Luke over at Nexus Mods as the game performance is shotty without it since I have a 4070Ti. Todd Howard is such a dump truck; he made some comment about Starfield pushing the capabilities of modern PC's and that us gamers should consider "upgrading our PC's." No, you moron, your game is poorly optimized and thus it's the responsibility of the modding community to fix an issue that should've been handled before Day 1 of launch, sans the obligation to lock the game with AMD's rendering technology.

I digress; I like the story, replayability, and the combat both in-space and on the ground. It's definitely not Elite Dangerous but it's enjoying enough that I find myself thinking about getting back into it when I spend some time away from it. Dollar for dollar, I got my value out of the premium edition already as I approach the 100 hour mark ($100/100 hours = $1/hr) I'll take it. It's a Bethesda game through and through. Thank God for the modding community.

I'm simply echoing what everyone else here has been saying. This game is so horribly plagued with issues. Until they resolve it, I'm requesting a refund and we'll revisit this game sometime down the line to see if EA/DICE gives enough of a damn to rectify what should've been an awesome release.

For reference; I bought Cyberpunk on day 1 and never returned that game because, at least for me, it had play value (PC), in comparison to this ham of a game. This is obnoxious.
