Feels very Street Fighter 3 inspired, you can tell they were going for technicality in the games design.

I will say though that it feels somewhat unpolished. A lot of the story/text feels thrown in and slap dash and the presence of Arial Font for the text during these scenes just feels cheap. I find myself completely ignoring the story and just mashing the attack buttons to get to the next fight.

I also feel like the game needs some kind of Villain or Final boss.. as the game stands it just sort of fizzles when you beat the arcade mode with no real climax.

I think the reason for those downsides is that the game seems inteded to be a multiplayer/tournament focused game with a competitive community, and in that respect it pretty much hits the mark. I just feel like all of the "story" aspects of the game either needed to be fleshed out more with better visuals or removed completely, it feels very out of place.

Otherwise it is a very good 2D Fighter and very reminiscent of Street Fighter 3.

I then used a chainsaw to propel me across the screen setting everyone else on fire as well,

I purchased this game because I felt obligated after watching the Kung Fury Movie.

This game turned out to be good.

Now I still feel like I got something awesome for free.

If your junk doesn't double in size after watching this, you weren't watching it hard enough.

I haven't played it much yet. But that is mostly due to obligations with work and study. But what little I have played so far is better than I ever could have imagined!

Ok so .. there has been a recent influx of negetive reviewers. Most of the negetivity is due to either:

1. They found out they have to pay real money to customize their skiers looks

2. The latest update has a few glitches that need to be ironed out.

However, consider that:

A. The game will EVENTUALLY be free to play, and they will fund the game on in game purchases. It currently is not because the game is still in early access. You are paying extra money to access the game early .. NOT TO BUY THE GAME. You might think that is stingey, but this is an independantly developed game by a company with LIMITED RESOURCES .. they need your money to make the game!

B. Early Access = glitches .. welcome to the world of modern game development.

If you can get past those 2 points and have more patience than a 5 year old whiner, then this game is the BEST Skiing game ever made, and IMO the BEST Winter sports game ever made.

The major selling point is that the game takes a more grounded "less arcadey" approach, while the physics are still a little loose to allow you to pull off some silly jumps, it mostly gets there and it does it well. You can explore a full mountain with little to no restrictions, which includes a resort complete with lifts (which will be rideable eventually) and an entire back country area. There are a plethora of ways down the mountain, and nothing limits you in any direction.

This is the Skiing game I have been wishing for since I was 5, and I fully recommend it.

This is one of the best Metroidvania titles I have ever played. Everything from world to characters to gameplay to challenge is absolutely amazing. I can't recommend this enough.

This is how FPS games SHOULD be! Level design that is actually interesting, weapons that really hit hard and fast-paced gameplay. This isnt some corridor shooter crap, you can actually navigate the environment, find secrets and cool weapons its awesome!

Somebody please point me to another game like this! I need MORE!

Excellent game, very difficult in the later stages. Enough like Sonic to be nostalgic, different enough to be its own game.
