Early Access Review
The game will eventually replace Wargame/Steel Division since it has all the needed components to upgrade the game UI, with the expected map editor; bring the content and unite the playerbase!

It's a serious game for serious strategy buffs. You have to manage yourself as much as you have to manage the field of battle. Things can go wrong really quick, or you can execute the best plan and watch your front line open up to victory.

I suggest this game to any and all RTS players who come from MoW / CoH series. The scope and scale of battle is another level higher than what you get in the mentioned games. You have more to control and more to plan for before the game starts, such as building the right battle group from the chosen units.

The game has a few different ways to be played; single player campaign/skirmish; multiplayer games 1v1; 2v2 to 4v4; and 10v10s. Each having their own specific requirements from the player in planning before and during the match start. Larger games can be hectic and difficult to manage because the pressure of units and artillery fire. This is where you can learn to manage yourself and frustration to pull off a victory. Smaller games are usually more fluid and allow for different play styles to be attempted, which is why after spending 2500 hours in Steel Division 1, I've already spent another 360 hours here. Lots of combinations and you can always do something new.

The development team is quick to respond to structured comments on their official discord and here on steam. They've released new content just two days ago and the online player account swelled to around 800~ daily. There is league tournament play and frequent team game matches between player discord communities. It's far from dead as a game and if you ignore the negativity from a select group that wanted Wargame 4 from this company, you will be better off.

Last thing is, while the game is new and being balanced; it can be frustrating to players who develop play styles that center around unit(s) that end up having stats changed. Just be aware that the game is changing slowly as the community reacts to balance issues. The development team is really good as listening to the players on this, more so than any game I've played in my time gaming.

Hope you buy the game and come play, it's a good one.

This game is heading in the right direction. Really enjoying the loot, combat, skill, awards, missions and just about every part of this game I've seen so far. There are some rough edges, but I have confidence they can get this game over the finish line and well done. I would suggest this game to anyone looking for a good game to jump right into. 4 player coop and the CABAL ( guild system ) makes for an interesting mission progression.

This game is by far the most addictive and enjoyable game I have played in recent memory. I can't stress it enough, there is no other game that comes close to the multiplayer experience. It's hard to learn, somewhat overwhelming with options of units, map locations, when to buy units or where to deploy them. Every battlegroup requires you to plan and play your strengths and weaknesses to the terrain at hand. Those who have the patience to learn and play the game out past about 50 hours should get the hang of things. It might help to try and find those who have been playing for awhile and get some tips and pointers about how to move units, how to attack, support an attack and/or defend properly.

There is no other strategy game that comes close to this. Wargame was it's own flavor, Ruse was Ruse. This is exactly where I wanted to see an RTS game go. Just needs some brave players to get past the negative review anxiety, learn the game and play it.

-- As of 6 June 2018 with over 2100 games played, still the best RTS on the market right now. Support these guys and join the fight.

One of my top 5 games of the last 10 years, hands down, worth the RTS price.
