Early Access Review
Awesome game, I would love to see it expand and evolve further. My dude is too rich and got nowhere to spend the money. That happened in Stardew Valley as well. If you liked that game, you will enjoy this one too.

Great game. Get it and you will probably die quite a few times, but it is still tons of fun.

This game is like a mixture of "Harvest Moon" meets "Legend of Zelda" with side of "Terraria" and a hint of "Chrono Trigger" style graphics.

I started to play it and I couldn't stop, so much to do. I am the type of person that when I get into a game (the first play-though) I absorb everything and want to explore everything as quickly as possible.

The more content and options, the more dangerous it is for me. This game is addictive and tons of fun. I love switching from farming, to mining, to fighting, to improving the town... to decorating my house... to... it goes on and on...

The developers put a lot of love and time into this game... and it shows! If you like all of the above mentioned games, get it without hesitation! My top game so far for 2016!

Interesting and different kind of game.

You start off attacking Alaska with limited abilities and limited resources. This quickly builds as you collect resources from the cities you destroy and take them back with you to your base to construct facilities for production, defense and storage.

Also, one building type in particular gives you ability enhancements. From here, you will purchase and train your Kaiju in skills chosen from a tech tree. All the cities are different and have a variety of difficulty levels. You are attacked by various military units and there is quite a few. You can only pick the one Kaiju for the moment but more are coming in Summer. Here's my pro/con list:

pros:

- Unique & successful idea set into motion.
- Easy to start but yet pretty deep
- Really fun destroying the cities (each city has special buildings or landmarks)
- Can advance your Kaiju and make him stronger and stronger
- The art style is interesting and looks good
- There are many cities to conquer and some simply can not be conquered from the start

cons:

- loading times are a bit long
- controls can be a bit wonky why you are trying to destroy a military unit attacking you
- UI controls for the base are a bit confusing (I didn't realize I had to build a advance facility to get to Tier 2 skills until later that I would have liked)
- the game crashed a couple of times due to a bug when leaving a city (twice but isn't a huge issue)
- some cities regenerate pretty quickly (rebuild and restore morale)

But all in all, it is a fun game that you should try if you like action mixed with base building and an a bit of an RPG element. It is a game for all ages!

I don't give reviews often but I really like the first one so I thought I would give it a try. Here is some quick useful info for you:

Is is harder than the first one? - Yes it is brutally harder and longer.

Does it explain some of the background story to the first one? - Yes... and no... it does but some parts are still really confusing. See for your self.

Will this game make me hate windows? - Yes it will, and door... and dogs and fat black and white people.

Is this game crazier than the first one? Yes it is... it is one of the single most weirdest games you will play.

Will it make me swear and curse? Yes... if you are a patient person this game will piss you off at some points.

Should I get it? Definitely, it is worth it.

Interesting little game.

I beat it in about 4 hours with no losses. I like the story, the characters and game itself is pretty cool.

It is not extremely difficult to learn but there is a learning curve and multiple ways to win or lose.

Nice job on it guys, I will be looking out for the next one. For $2.00 (less than a booster of actual cards) it is tons of fun.
