I've been playing for well over 10 years. I was introduced to it by the legendary boatmurdered succession fort and I haven't stopped since. I understand it's not for everyone, I've tried to introduce it to anyone who would listen, but hopefully now more people will be able to stick to it. As an old-hat player there are some aspects of the new mouse driven input that I'm grumpy about but I'm sure DF will continue to improve just as it always has!

If you are a fan of WC: Privateer, this is made for you. A passion project that delivers on what we've been waiting for. There's was some dickery going with the reviews and this game and the developer doesn't deserve it. I wish him all the best in his life outside of game dev, he made some awesome stuff for us while we had him!
