Would OCD again

One of the better videogame adoptations of the 40k IP. Fun to customize your crew and fight exciting and clever battles. Rather liked the title, played using the iron man and permadeth options to add some extra excitement.

Wonderfully tactical little game, very nice use of 3d to illustrate a topdown world. Would kick doors again.

This is a proper sequel to the close combat series, with some added depth in some areas, and less in others. There are some issues that should be fixed such as better pathing (it's good, but not perfect). Would love to be more explicit with orders such as 'sneak' etc.

All-in-all, 9.5/10, a must buy if you like a real tactical challenge.

Be warned, Arma is... well, Arma - it's hard to get into but very rewarding.

Wonderful game but I cannot fathom how slow the development is moving. The whole concept of DayZ is not an advanced idea, and the biggest obstacle would be to have an engine that supports large landscapes, which they do.

Either the developers are really slow at developing, or the ARMA engine is so horribly put together that it's basically a hack fest to get anything running. But even though that were the case, re-writing the server component, inventory, or whatever shouldn't take several years.

I want to recommend this game, but due to the fact that the same bugs have persisted for 2 years I can't.

And the argument "it's alpha, there will be bugs" doesn't hold up - successfully creating a game is based on a low tolerance for bugs in development, otherwise you'll end up with more than you can handle at the end of development.
