Glad to see they've reversed their PSN requirement decision, and even might be making a review-bomb cape. I enjoy this game very much, and I'm looking forward to playing once all of the content is in place - I am a huge fan of the original and want to see all of the strategems replicated in the new engine and viewpoint.

I've loved Payday 2 from the start. I've been playing it from the beginning and I own most the DLC released to date. Some of the changes since release have been questionable but overall the game was enjoyable.

With the removal of Microtransactions, I've changed my review back to recommended as promised. It's nice to see that Overkill was able to restore some faith in the eyes of the player base and fix the microtransactions situation. It's a momentous occasion! I purchased 4 more DLC packs to celebrate.

If you understand the following, and you like what you read, then you should get this game: This is a classic dungeon crawling roguelike with a sense of humor.

Multiple skills (all humorous and some oddly difficult to figure out), odd enemies, strange weapons, multiple crafting systems (smithing, alchemy, fungimancy?), and many other attributes all make this throwback to the past a worthwhile buy.

This game is a mix of the single-player portion of Smash TV, The Legend of Zelda Dungeons, and any simple roguelike you can name. If you don't know what roguelike means: Read on!

Basically - you go from room to room in a dungeon that's randomly generated each time. No enemy layout, powerup, hidden room, etc... is the same twice. This means some runs are a cakewalk. Some runs are impossible. 5 hidden characters to unlock, as well as number of hidden powerups to unlock. There are even hidden enemies! The game isn't easy, and contains a bunch of "cute" gross-out art. It's fairly addictive if this is your type of game!

One major criticism: it's very clear that this game was intended as a flash title that they've ported into a stand alone game that they're charging for. If you go to www.newgrounds.com, you can find the demo for the retail release. It runs perfectly. Some people might feel a bit cheated, spending $$ on a glorified flash game.

Why not? It's FREE! This is an overhead shooter in the style of Smash TV - But with aliens! Pick from 8 characters: two unique specialists in each of the 4 professions with their own strengths and weaknesses. Be prepared to lose, though. The harder difficulties are downright brutal, requiring a steady hand and quick reactions. Definitely a game for those thinking they're real gamers.

A lack of post-release support hurts the game, but if you've got some dedicated friends there are plenty of custom campaings to be found.

If you love hack and slash RPGs in the style of Diablo and its ilk, look no further. Done by members of the team behind the original Diablo, it's an amazingly engrossing hack and slasher with unique and distinct class trees, well balanced gameplay, and an addictive quest structure that never leaves you guessing.

A fantastic Grand RTS where cooperation is your only option. Fight against a brutal and superior AI as you struggle to survive as the last remnant of humanity in the depths of space. Each expansion adds new depth, rules, and AI types to the mix. No two games are ever the same, with layer upon layer of cusomization for each match. Just be prepared to spend a large amount of time on finishing a single match. For dedicated players only!
