Played TF2 for 2,708 hours so far... I stopped playing it in late 2019 and resumed yesterday... what can I say about the game?
It is repetitive, yes. Millions of other shooters have better graphics now. But. The class system is still the best of any shooter. Teamwork is of utmost importance. And you usually change classes during a round, depending on the situation at hand. TF2 is addictive, but fewer and fewer people are playing this game. Try it out, it doesn't hurt. Don't expect to succeed in it on the first day, you have to learn the game

Fascinating. This is my kind of game. (Playing v 1.1 in normal mode on PC, 14 hrs played at time of writing)

After having played uncounted hrs of FPS (no shjt, started in 1994 with Doom, played TF2 alone for 2150 hrs, and that is not much by my standards), I longed for that lonesome game experience the early Elite and Elite2 Frontier provided (on Commodore C64 and Amiga). And tihs game beats them by many miles.

You have to like single player games to enjoy NMS. And you have to be a bit patient in the beginning, if you play it like it's intended, e.g. in normal mode. I invested about 12 real life hours just running across various planets, farming items and dicovering waypoints. If you don't explore the first planets you encounter fully, you will become stuck and frustrated. Because you have to gather informations and standings with other alien cultures before you really get into the game.
Now, after 14 hrs of playing, I have discovered Atlas and have been granted my first home base. Now the game becomes more meaningful. Don't know how long this game will get me hooked, but it has already been worth its price.

If you are just into trolling other players (which, to my over 10,000 hrs of FPS experience alone, most love to do), this is no game for you, since you will most likely never meet any real player, only npcs. But it's an intense game once you get into it, it's as if you're really out there. The fighting sequences are a bit frustrating, though. On planets even small animals may become a leathal threat if two of them attack simultaneously. And with your default ship you are easy prey for space raiders, so try to avoid them in the beginning.

Only thing that's extremely frustrating is the lack of storage space. You are managing your inventory like crazy, all the time, which is not much fun by my standards. I would really appreciate more inventory space, both for the suit and the ship. Yes, I know how to get some more space in-game, but even with that inventory space is still pathetically poor.

This game is intense. I mean INTENSE, provided you play it in single player with default settings and normal difficulty.

You will certainly die screaming. I mean literally in the MY GOD THEY SPOTTED ME THEY'RE COMING THROUGH THE DOOR I GRAB MY TORCH AND HIT THE FIRST --- AAAAH I'M BURNING I AM BUUUUURNIIIIING! die screaming sense.

You will constantly suffer thirst and hunger. You're either be too cold or too hot. You get sick and you get tired. There are never enough resources. The Zombies are smart-a** b*tch*s. And they are dark, perfectly for an environment that is mostly dark. And wet. And too cold. Or too hot.

The crafting system is a bit complicated and stupendous at the beginning. But why should you care? You won't find enough things to survive, anyway, and you will die screaming. Enter a small village with only 6 zombies and you have 40 wooden arrows with an aiming talent of 2? No problem in other games... here you still have a fair chance of dying screaming.
It's intense, it feels eerily real. You are really there. That's the best thing you can say about any game, and you can certainly say it about this one.

So far I only played a few hours in single player mode (SP), and I already died two times. My experience from other FPS didn't help me much... (started in 1994 with Doom, go figure, there were humans back then).
Multiplayer? Haven't tried yet, I'm just too unexpierienced. This is no action shooter, this is a mean survival game.

Crafting and building - 7D2D is Minecraft on steroids with FPS elements and fairly good graphics. Did I mention you will literally die screaming?
Btw, 7D2D has different difficulty settings, and there also are settings for unlimited resources and no enemies (apart from bears, they still appear...). I sincerely recommend playing 7D2D on the easiest setting with default values at first. Wait, you mentioned bears? Yes, bears. Die screaming, you know the drill.

Mining, building a vast fort? All possible, but you have to be really experienced to try such things. Now go die screaming.

First things first: The programmer of the roadbook function must be blind. It's rather useless. And the game is absolutely unforgiving. You will have to learn all tracks in order to stay alive.
That said, the game is brilliant. A must have for all racing game fans. Btw, seriously... don't cut.
