This game has an incredibly outdated UI, gameplay is slow and disconnected, wide screen support sucks, the controls are some how worse than the witcher games, this came out in 2022 or something and feels like it was designed in 1980, its terrible. There is nothing good about this game, why does it have very positive reviews.

A Grand Slam game, a complete refresher to the tower defense genre, absolutely hit all the marks for me. A little sarcasm and comedy, an interesting twist on human fate, and gameplay that is immediately engaging and ramps up quickly.  Some of the best parts for me include "No Hopes" where you can greatly modify the gameplay by enabling difficulty modifiers and, in various combinations, create a completely different experience. I was super fortunate and got access to the beta for a bit as well as the playtest weekend. I saw some discussion in the game's official Discord during the playtest weekend, and the developers seemed very engaged and willing to make the game the best experience for players possible. I came away from that chomping at the bit for a chance to own uninterrupted access to the game and with excitement for the possible future of the game, as the roadmap shows some pretty awesome potential that I cannot wait to see come to fruition.  

Now, not to take away from my overall glowing review, the store page said there would be Steam Leaderboards, but I don't see that feature anywhere in the game currently, and while I don't think it is critical to the game play at all, as I can still go into discord and dunk on my friends manually, it would be cool to have something to show off what I can do passively.

10/10 Game for sufferers of low blood pressure, I was cured upon gaining the illustrious rank of silver 3.
