It reminds me of Quake III Arena released in December 1999, competing against Unreal Tournament released in November 1999... both games were really good, and addictive. However, this game in _particular_ takes things to the next level. Quake Live (takes + changes + extends) many of the things that made Quake III Arena so great...? That it became _this_ well made masterpiece. This game is easy to learn, but difficult to master. It evolves from being a merely simple first person shooter focused on deathmatch, into a Chess-like strategy game requiring thousands of hours of sheer dedication and practice to compete at the top levels. Accuracy is important, but so is movement AND knowledge of the physics of the game.
