So I walked in today and wanted to buy the game. I was immedietly halted as I saw over 5200 reviews with a mostly negative rating. Sat down with my sandwich and began to read through some of them. All I saw was that it was a stutter fest and that it was released too early and all the usual complaints.

Then I came across one reviewer who stated that all you had to do was turn off V-Sync and Motion Blur and the game ran great. I had been waiting for this game for a while so I took the plunge and bought it. Went into setting and did just as was suggested and turned off the before mentioned settings. Booted up the game and it ran great. Averaging 92 FPS with a 3080 TI.

Now there are a couple....and I do mean couple stutters here and there. Few and far between however that it is nowhere game breaking and hardly noticeable. So for those buying this game just turn off those two settings and you will be golden. The devs will no doubt patch this up in no time so I am not really worried.

In regards to the game.....brilliant. A lot of fun and super challenging! You need to check it out if you were a fan of the Dead Space games. Here is a video I made and you can see just how little stuttering there is. https://youtu.be/2GjvfafcRCc

Looked at the reviews prior to installing the game and all I saw was people trashing "Dennis". Had to install the game and check it out and it only took me twenty minutes before I too wanted Dennis to burn at the stake. Fun game and I look forward to seeing what the future has store.

Incredible game. Best RPG game that I have played in a long time. Story is magnificent and engaging. The music in this game is phenomenal and an absolute joy to listen to. Character story lines keep you wanting to play more and more so you can finally find out what happens next. This game is worth every penny and will keep you entertained for hours. I currently have 185 hours into this game and I just started a new game.

Fantastic WW2 game. If you want a WW2 game that isn't just a fast paced action shooter like what the Battlefield series has become and you don't want something that is super realistic such as ARMA then this is the game for you.

Its a fantastic blend of realism and arcade style game play. Teamwork is an absolute must in this game if you want to win. I have had no trouble finding teams who work really well together and communicate constantly to take an objective. This game does a great job making you feel rewarded when you take that strategic point that you worked so hard to get to.

I feel its a very well balanced game and more than worth the $30 they are asking. Get it!.

There is only one con in my opinion.....the matches are very long so you need to make sure you have plenty of time to sit down and play a match because if you quit early then you wont get any experience.

So this game is very early in development so I cant say a whole lot on it right now. However what is available right now seems to be running pretty smooth. Its a lot of fun to wrestle the fish once it is caught, the graphics right now are pretty decent, the skill level required right now makes it a bit too easy but hopefully that will change over time. I cant recommend this game in its current state. I would wait until its full release before purchasing it.

With all that being said my only fear is that this game will be a play to win type of game. If you want to catch that bigger fish then you're going to need to spend real money to get that tougher fishing line and so on and so forth. Really hope that isnt the direction this company is headed, but I have a huge hunch that it is sadly.

I have been playing the total war games since the very start. One of the things that was so great about these games was how in depth it went. Family tree's, economy, battles, and much more. Rome TW 2 seems like it's was dumbed down for the younger crowd so it wasnt too hard for them to get into. Simply put there is no challenge what so ever when playing the game. Even after all the patches that have come out which I wont deny have made a lot of good changes, but just nothing significant. When you play you will notice that you only need to capture roughly four settlements and then the game is a piece of cake from there. The enemy doesnt upgrade its units and it ususally focuses on only a few types of start of the game units. It is very rare that a faction will declare war on you and if by some act of god they do then they will never attack you. Also when in battle the computer still does the same charge head on into you and die strategy. We were promised a intelligent enemy AI in battle, but we didnt get that at all. The game is just not as in depth or challenging as the previous titles and it's a shame. Save your money and hopefully the company has learned a lesson and on their next game they bring out they will go back to their old roots. The only thing that can save this game in my opinion would be modders.
