Major Order Completed - Reset Those Reds Helldivers.


Original - Gameplay is amazing, but the pubby community is either legendary or DOTA levels of rancid. So if you've got them, play with yer pals!

Good choice based game, woulda been perfect if I'd been given one last choice though.

So far I've had a really good time with Pacific Drive, it's chilled out, it gives me Subnautica and Longest Dark (Whatever it's called) vibes. The car is brilliant fun too, it feels like part of you. So if you like rolling about in yer homemade version of Ecto-1, grab it. The downsides are it's a wee bit repetitive towards the end, the car parts become ridiculously fragile later in game and some resources are a pain in the arse to find.

That said, he biggest standout feature outside of the car is that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ inventory management. Whomever designed it genuinely needs a raise. Anything stored on you or yer car gets linked to the crafting in the car, it doubles down in the garage by linking everything you've got stored. The wee vacuum sooks up everything to save you the hassle, the hand vac does the same and there's yer transfer case to move everything from the car to storage. My only gripe is the lack of a search feature for the pneumatic storage, because ♥♥♥♥ getting the pearls from a list the length of yer car.

So well done Devs, for getting me off my arse and making me write a review about inventory, never thought I'd see myself doing that.

It's actually a really strong platformer, admitted I got it in a sale and after all the launch issues were ironed out. But aye, it's good!

Land on a planet, make my way towards a POI, it's an abandoned mine. Start battling a bunch of higher level Spacers, I'm level 3. Kill the big baddy, get a Legendary Helmet, my first legendary item. Turn to kill the next guy and crash. On reload, get a blue level knife. Ahhh Betheseda.

But overall, it can be a wee bit boring at points and graphically it looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥ outside of Ultra. The Twist with the straight white males being the Artifacts creators was pretty cool, because both were equally rare in the galaxy. But aye, it's actually not too bad.

42h for a 100% achievement run. It was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blast.

An example of what makes this game great.

Fighting some Gobbos, the team's up on a roof top. The Gobbos were split across two roofs, they're all dead barring a tracker who was moving between the two. Last turn, it's my Summoned Bear. He can't make it down to the pesky Goblin and kill him with one action, a move and a bonus action...Or can he?

Press the Jump button, spot that not only can I make it, but the game tells me I'll do damage to the target. So I click and watch in awed majesty as a brown bear takes a running start towards the edge, gracefully leaps into the air and curls in to some form of brown, furry cannonball before hurtling down towards this poor Goblin, crushing him instantly and the fight ends.

10/10, would bear bomb again.

Amazing, game. It really is Spectacular and it's the Ultimate version too with all the DLC.

The only downside I've got with the game is the first boss fight is a wee bitty hard. Take out the turrets and prepare for a few very easy QTEs and the parts with MJ/Miles woulda been better done with a cutscene instead of playing as them as it breaks your immersion a bit.

This game made me hate old people. 8/10 Would vent them in to space again.

It's an XCOM clone, but it's a really good game.
It's got the same issue all XCOM games have, by hour 12 you've seen all the maps, but it's a really good game.
You can't speed up animations and watching the ship enter warp for the 100th time is a bit boring, but it's a really good game.
It lets me pulverise heretic astartes with a Daemonhammer, so it's a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥' good game.

All in all, 8/10, would purge again.
