This game is honestly just never stopped improving across the last few years. The last recoil changes were one of the biggest leaps forward into the realm of a finished game. It not only was a super brave move for Facepunch to do, considering it would hit their longest standing players the hardest, however they did it out of the betterment of the game itself, and the community. Sure it might be a bit more like some of the other FPS games out there now, but it also doesn't feel as if you're climbing a mountain until you reach the summit with everyone else, its now a plateau where everyone can finally fight in a more equal footing. Thank you for everything, and I hope your sales continue to reach the moon!

Would've paid $60 for this game, but friend was impatient and gifted it to me instantly for less than half that. Will be gifting it to another friend during Black Friday/Winter Sale. Absolutely recommend, I genuinely cannot think of a downside to it.

Although it was removed off of the steam store, thats not gonna stop me from giving this game an absoloute 10/10. Its campaign is simply outstanding, where victory will always fall to one side, but you still feel a good connection even to the opposing side in Soviet Assault.

Multiplayer: The game was licensed to the community by the developers after the servers went down for some time, which caused some frustration with the playerbase. (myself included) The games multiplayer RTS isn't perfectly balanced, however it is quite entertaining, and balanced well beyond the point of just playable. When the aspect of a mod is introduced however, balance shifts completely, and it can even be completely one-sided depending on the mod.

Another note that isnt related to the base game, the game is also very mod compatible, which is something that is an absolute must-have in a good RTS game. Even now, the MW Mod (Modern Warfare Mod, able to be found on ModDB) is still being updated, and is even multiplayer compatible, but not just that, the games servers are still lively even now.

its ok i guess, lol not really, the game itself is hilariously broken, certain countries having a clear advantage over others, and the gameplay is sub optimal at best. The game has amazing potential but it wont really get any better because the Dev's are too focused on adding high tier premiums to rake in more money. So i do NOT reccomend this game because of this fact. There are some gamemodes and vehicles that are balanced and fun to play, but unfortunately because of the economy system people wont allow you to have fun because of how unbearably grindy it is.
