Best in genre for isometric combat rogue-lite. Huge amount of content keeps the story interesting even after a hundred hours and hundred restarts. Great sense of progression with new systems arising as older ones are achieved. Also taught me a lot of lore about the ancient greek gods.

The label of "just one more run" gets thrown around a lot by gamers but this is the only game that caused me to really feel that urge.

I have played (almost) all of Supergiant's games and Hades is their best achievement.

Great game if you get satisfaction from efficiency. Friendly community and great communication from dev team
