Sony Listened, no PSN account mandatory.

Only downside now is the root kit Anti cheat.
If you are ok with that, this game is a banger :)

Sadly, the way Sony handles this game and making a PSN account mandatary for the sole reason of data mining as much of your info as possible. I would not recommend this game.

The root Kit Anti cheat was already a something that could put me on the fence, but the high quality of the game and the way Arrowhead treated the gamers was good enough to make me overlook that. However Playsation going full moronic on this stance, would make advise people to stay as far away from this game as possible. Despite my many ours i already spend in this game. it could be that this is it for me as well. Might even try to get a refund still.

It's a shame really.
