Very fun gameplay loop and style.

Very simple, but fun resource management sim. Has the right level of exploration and mystery. The talent trees keep you motivated to keep going.

You can see by the amount of hours played, I've enjoyed this game ever the years. I've also paid quite a bit of money each update to support Lava (Dev) with a game I've enjoyed. Unfortunately, the game has become increasingly more pay-2-win and the latest update includes a random "gatcha" that is absolutely broken in both power and pricing. Lava clearly wants to make money, and he probably will, but this practice is incredibly scummy and is designed from the ground up to continually be so as more things are added to the game. A feature this big should not be behind a pay wall. Its game breaking, not a quality of life purchase.
