add more pals down the line, add some story line to the actual release version. Fix some of the textures little, and you have a perfect game. This is now a solid game to start with, but definitely not at it's full potential yet. I think this can be the pinnacle of monster capturing and training games. You guys are doing what even pokemon failed (I am talking about you Legends of Arceus). I wish the devs all the best. I bought this game on steam just to support the devs even though I can play it on Gamepass.

Mine is not installing at all, do I need to wait for it after the game installs itself??

This is one of the games where DLSS quality actually looks better than native+AA. Especially at 4k.

People really should give this game a try. This is basically the pinnacle of this genre. I played the OG on DS, it was awesome back then, but this is just a huge improvement. It balances grinding and progression, you could also choose to either grind or push forward with the story.

Seems fine for me, I use full screen to play, 10900k+3090, I have no idea why it's not working for some people. Maybe they are using a laptop? Maybe AMD GPU? Maybe older drivers? Feel free to leave a comment so we can compare and figure out what's wrong.

Anyway, the game is fun so far, will update after I am done with it.

Edit: I think it's justa codec issue. If you have a video player installed, download the vlc codecs instead. It might solve the problem

If you are into hack and slash RPG, and into persona content, then this is the game for you. I would rate it 9/10, the optimization is perfect, even a potato shouldnt have issues running it smoothy and the gameplay is awesome. Hope we get a persona 6 or some kind of sequel soon. Really like this gang, go phantom thieves!

This is a step up from the first toukiden game, I have seen some complains that the game has some crashing issues. I think that has more to do with older windows version and driver issue. It runs fine on win 10 with intel+nvidia setup.

Completed this game on my VITA. It's a very good hack'n slash game with nepu-nepu flavors added to it. If you like dynasty warrior and devil may cry type controls, you will probably like this game.

Last but not least, people experiencing crash should update their driver, because most of the crashed are happening on laptop with switchable graphics gpu. This is mostly a graphics driver issue but not issue of the game itself. Try forcing the dedicated graphics gpu. it should help.

OK, I rarely write reviews, but I am gonna do one for this game. First off, lets start off with pros:

*Mutated two headed cows are awesome
*Supersized bug are fun to squash
*Lots of thing to customized
*Mini nuclear bomb can be launched
*Super robotic suits to try on
*too many awesome things

Cons:
Nothing

Now for the technical part;

Pros
*Optimization for the game is awesome
*Graphics are very good, and I am surprised that it can be achieved in some older hardware.

Cons?:
Yes, only one, no SLI support !!!!!! (Pls look down below)

Ok, yeah the game is awesome, really awesome, really really awesome, Buuuut no SLI support, atleast no native one, a work around would be going to the graphics control panel and switching SLI or CF rendering mode, I am not sure about CF but "Force alternate frame rendering 2" seems to work fine for my 980m SLI, and I look up on the net, 780 SLI seems to also work fine in this setting.

Anyway, explantion out off the way, anyone who has this game should try it, anyone that is holding back from buying, don't hold back. Anyone who thinks this game is crap, find a vault and freeze yourself up, I am sure you will love this game when you wake up, LOL.

Not really sure why people are giving bad reviews, I can run fluently on my i7 +980m laptop with max settings, no sweat at all, and the temps are low which means it's not even stressing my hardware. The optimization right now seems fine. The graphics are really good, it's not like those titles that are simply just ported (YES, Squareenix, I am talking about you), People should try it now, I don't regret a single bit I bought this game, even though it's expensive, it's worth it.
