There's very little to say more than that this game is digital crack for any mind that enjoy problem solving, troubleshooting and puzzles with intricate pieces.
With the expansion there's a lot more of everything and it is amazing.

It's just a very fun survival horror game.

Compared to other Total war titles, this one, like rome II is a bit more tedious and in my opinion boring.
If you want a faster pace in all aspects I would recommend Total war: Shogun 2 instead.

Fantastically nice game to either play for just 15 minutes to waste some time or sink several hours in to beat some of the harder maps and systems.

+ Campaign with natural tutorials
+ Almost infinite maps available when you unlock systems outside the campaign
+ Map editor, hours of fun making huge maps with creeper spewing from everywhere.
+ Tormented space with very difficult maps, fight tooth and nail to survive.

- Music and sounds can get pretty repetitive and feel a bit low quality, you can use your own music instead though, still enjoyable
- Endgame often don't offer much resistance, once you have survived the initial phase of building (early-mid) it's just a matter of building mortars to clear as much creeper as possible.

This was very fun and fantastic game to play with friends and publics alike.

It's easy to get in to, the stealth mechanics can be tricky but on the easier difficulties it is ok to slip up and let the cops come.

It's far more fun multiplayer (up to 4 player co-op) than playing single player.

Edit: Microtransactions are removed, I can now recommend this game again.
