I have just finished Kingdome Come: Deliverance 2 and let me tell you: Jesus Christ be praised!

After the first big event in the game you feel like "this has to be it soon, for sure". That was around 40h in for me. I totalled 93h to basically 100% the game.

That one big city you get to visit? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's gorgeous. And alive! People everywhere, doing stuff, following their routine. It's got that same bustling, immersive vibe that Night City and Novigrad gave me.

Fighting? Still kinda easy once you figure out the one move that kind of breaks the game. It's still fun. And the story? Better than KCD1, imo. I was hooked. Great characters, interesting side quests.

Also this week, they finally added a barber. Mullet and horseshoe mustache. That's all you need to know. KCD1 was amazing, KCD2 is just next level. 5/7, would mullet again.

Deep Rock Galactic transforms your gaming nights into a wild adventure, uniting you and your buddies in a laughter-filled quest for extraterrestrial riches. The procedurally generated caves are like your own personal playground, and the mix of mining, completing tasks, and alien-blasting is perfect. Plus, the devs are on point with updates and keeping the community in the loop on what's next.

Deep Rock Galactic is a guaranteed good time. ROCK AND STONE!

Incredible Game! Exceptionally rewarding despite refusing holding your hand. You might feel intimidated by the sheer number of empty pages in the book needing to be filled out including the lengthy, empty crew roster, but don't let this put you off. Go in blind!

First of all: GOTY for me and probably the best game I have played since Divinity: Original Sin 2.

It's a ton of fun, it's hard enough so one does not just breeze through the game, but easy enough to keep one motivated playing it. If a boss or area feels too difficult, one can just explore another region, level up and find better gear, so one can come back and continue ones original path.

The quests can be frustrating, if one does not carefully read or remember stuff. Then again the conversations usually are so short, that the information on where to go or what to do next is packed into two sentences. Some quests do not abide to this and will have one questioning if there even is more to whatever one just did. Since they added the NPCs to the map, they at least fixed some quests where one can not be sure what to do next.

The builds one can go for in the game are great and one is not locked into whatever one has chosen so far. At least not up until one point in the game, roughly 20-30% in. There is no unlimited re-specialising tho, so still choose wisely.

The World is vast, with a couple of different biomes and a lot of caves, hills and structures to explore. Most of those will have a boss waiting for one at the end. There are over 200 bosses in the game, ranging from slightly stronger soldiers to huge dragons, so there is definitely enough to kill!

Elden Ring has six different endings, so the replay value lies not only in the different builds, but also in the different endings.

This game got me into the Soulsborne Series. Since finishing Elden Ring, I have completed Demon's Souls Remastered and Dark Souls Remastered, with Dark Souls 2 already installed and waiting for me to get going.

This is a clear 10/10 for me, especially since it runs flawlessly under Linux :)

Review Update:
10th of Novermber Update borked play-ability on Linux. It worked flawlessly before, but not anymore. Cannot recommend anymore.


Previous, positive Review:
For an Early Access title, this game is pretty polished already. Bugs I've encountered so far comes down to ones like not joining with the gear you took, but you can simply get out of the raid and you'll have it again. Worst bug I've had so far (once) was disconnecting when leaving a raid, losing all of my gear and stuff I found.

Besides those small issues, the game runs very smoothly on Linux (5.19.13-arch1-1, NVIDIA-SMI 515.76) and is the right amount of realistic for me. :)

Also I killed my friend with a knife for a contract. 5/7.

Great game, that takes around 15h to "beat", I think. 100% worth the price!

Would I recommend STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order™?
Yes-ish.

Great story, a metroidvania style Star Wars is actually really fun, but:
It's not worth 60-ish dollars.
Wait for it to drop to around 30 or so and grab it. It is really a blast to play, I really enjoyed the story, even tho 2 of the characters became 'close' way to quick for my taste, but it is only around 15h if you rush it, max 30 if you complete it.
