This game expands on the content of the original The Stanley Parable. You don't need to have played the original game to play this game.

You can enjoy the original content fully before experiencing any of the Ultra Deluxe content if you simply do not enter the door labelled "New Content"

I recommend this game. It is a light-hearted narrated audio-visual walking simulator experience with many branching paths. Subtitles are available.

This game was the reason people bought a Sega Saturn. Sega has really outdone themselves with this grand world of imagination and free flowing gameplay. It's a score attack game, which means to get as many points as possible within the time limit.

Pros:
+ Original character that has stood the test of time
+ Fast fluid gameplay from what you expect of Sonic developers
+ Plenty of hidden systems to discover
+ Wonderful music
+ Simple controls that allow anyone to play (analog controller is strongly recommended)

It's very good, but it does come with a few flaws:
- This game is hard to learn (but also hard to master)
- The story is short, so you need to be self-driven to chase high scores
- The PC setup experience is similar to other Sega games (not very good)

Spend the $5 (or less) to buy Orcs Must Die 2, that's a much better game.

Although the game does everything it says in the description, which is why it was an insta-purchase during the sale, it does so in a very shallow way.

Each suspect is characterised in only 3 ways. Gender, Affiliation, Hobby. Clues you receive are either "He is male", or "The suspect's affiliation is either police OR civilian." which means that two clues about their hobby will tell you the suspect's hobby. The entire process is a watered down version of getting a warrant for a Carmen Sandiego villian.

Although the game is procedurally generated, nothing about the game changes in any significant way: only which of the static locations where you can find clues and the suspect themselves change.
