In the world of video games, it's rare to stumble upon a title that gracefully marries the art of storytelling with the intricacies of puzzle-solving, all while fostering a sense of cooperation. Sonder is one such gem, a game that takes the player on an innovative co-op adventure, demanding collaboration, wit, and a deep dive into the human psyche.

At its core, Sonder is a platformer that draws inspiration from genre-defining games like "Portal" and "Limbo." Yet, it stands out by blending 2D and 3D elements to create an immersive experience that is both somber and relaxing. This game isn't just about jumping from one platform to another or solving puzzles in isolation. It's about two players coming together, each wielding unique abilities, to navigate through challenges that require genuine teamwork and inventive strategies.

The gameplay is a seamless mix of collaborative puzzle-solving and dynamic combat. Unlike traditional platformers where the path to victory is often linear, "Sonder" encourages players to think outside the box—or rather, outside the conventional dimensions of gameplay. Each puzzle and combat scenario is a test of not just the players' reflexes but also their ability to work in harmony. This requirement for constant communication and coordination elevates the game from a simple pastime to a shared journey.

What truly sets Sonder apart is its psychological narrative. The game delves into themes exploring the essence of humanity, making players ponder their own existence and the nature of human connections. This philosophical undercurrent adds a layer of depth to the game that is both unexpected and enriching, making each level not just a challenge to be overcome but a story to be unraveled.

Visually, Sonder strikes a balance between the bleak, shadow-laden landscapes of "Limbo" and the clean, puzzle-filled environments of "Portal." The art direction supports the game's somber feel, with muted colors and minimalist designs that draw the player into its mysterious world. The soundtrack complements this atmosphere perfectly, providing a laid-back yet engaging backdrop that enhances the overall experience.

However, Sonder is not without its flaws. The requirement for two players might limit its accessibility to some. Nonetheless, that issue is minor in the grand scheme of the game's achievements.

In conclusion, Sonder is a testament to the power of collaborative gameplay, challenging puzzles, and a narrative that dares to explore profound themes. It's a game that not only entertains but also invites players to reflect on the essence of cooperation and human connection. For those in search of a game that is relaxing yet intellectually stimulating, Sonder is a journey worth embarking on.

It could also not be emphasized more that the game could be a lot longer and I would see myself enjoying even more of the creative minds of the developers and the puzzles within thisgame.

Early Access Review
For a free-to-play (and early-access) game this has shown how a better "copy" of Minecraft should be.
If you ask me though, this has a lot of differences compared to minecraft. And very positive ones aswell.
This game is open-world sandbox and unless you like these RPG-like games you shouldn't be playing.
Creativerse is an extremly addicting game if you give it the time and effort, when you reached "end-game" there are tons of blueprints which I enjoy building at the moment.

Pros & Cons (Mainly talking about stuff that are different from minecraft)

Pros:
Being able to rotate blocks the way you want
Blueprints
Crafting Menu
Taming many different creatures
Higher jumping
Auto-run

Cons:
Slow when things are being "Processed"
Slow furnace/forge
Pets are not used in the combat aspect
Slow when taking ores/nodes
No "story", no why you're where you are

So far I've been enjoying myself in this game, and I would definitely recommend it to people who like these type of sandbox games. It has a very cartoonish feel and style which to me is okay. I personally do not like that cartoony feel but still, the gameplay and the feeling makes up for it. They should try and make it more abstract if they want to open up the player-base to older audiences.
Other than that, it's free. Try it.
