This program has some absurd limitations by design due to the cultish philosophy the developers force on the user. The major limitation being that the program does not allow you to forecast your future income vs. expenses for the coming months.
Something you'd expect from a budgeting program, right?

Again:
There is no feature to view future paychecks vs. expenses. There is no way of figuring out if your budgeting plan works long-term. Good luck knowing whether you can afford all of your expenses at the end of the year.
In addition, you are forced to manually budget each month.

They took the idea of making budgeting easier with software and went backwards due to their rigid (IMO outdated) philosophy based on the "Envelope Method" of budgeting. All in hopes of forcing people to save their money and focus on the money they currently have.

This program is likely for people that habitually mismanage their funds, not for people looking to be financially independent with limited funds and a delicate yearly financial balance.

The philosophy is flawed in the sense that it does not account for people who have very little if any savable income, or if the individual is on an asset restriction and is not allowed to save past a certain amount.

The lack of this presumably basic functionality is more absurd than the price tag.

Like most 'video game industry' developers, Rockstar only cares about selling copies.

If you expected Rockstar to do something new or improve upon the series, you should save your money and pretend the franchise ended with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

SA-MP still has a healthy community and is much more fun than anything GTA 5 has to offer.


I believe the next generation of open world games will likely come from community driven projects similar to Altis Life or DarkRP.

This is the last time I will put my money towards the GTA franchise.

Similar to most Ubisoft (or major publisher) games, this is a promising concept that was rushed out the door and badly ported.
It has some enjoyable aspects, like Assassin's Creed or Far Cry 2, yet overall it is another over-hyped concept title with many half-baked mechanics/physics.

This is purely a high priced 'blockbuster action game'. It's a cash-grab.
Real investment in a game requires more pollish and more attention to game mechanics before releasing it.

The game is plagued with bugs. Low volume, imbalanced/exploitable multiplayer, and extremely high memory/resource usage.

Don't spend any more money than you would on Saints Row 2. That's about what it's worth.

In addition, avoid any game requiring Uplay. It is intrusive trashware that pops up Ubisoft ads after every "Game Session".
