While it's nice to have a laugh with, and getting to the peak is cool, especially with a full squad I found that I had to put energy into ahving fun, whereaas other co-op squad games in my experience the laughs came easier and the enjoyment was still present even when "losing". Of course mileage varies with who you play it with, but ultimately my baseline experience is that I had to look for reasons to be enjoying the game beyond the first run of the day.
