"Rockstar Games believes in reasonable fan creativity, and, in particular, wants creators to showcase their passion for our games," Rockstar said in a statement on its website. "After discussions with Take-Two, Take-Two has agreed that it generally will not take legal action against third-party projects involving Rockstar's PC games that are single-player, non-commercial, and respect the intellectual property (IP) rights of third parties. This does not apply to (i) multiplayer or online services; (ii) tools, files, libraries, or functions that could be used to impact multiplayer or online services, or (iii) use or importation of other IP (including other Rockstar IP) in the project."

After sending lawers after mod makers (including OpenIV which you need to install the mods) and not standing by thier past stance on mods below the replay value of this game has drop considerbly not to mention online is a ♥♥♥♥ show with the amount of script kiddie ruining the whole online experince, i can no longer recomend this game un less it was in the 5-10 bin.

"Rockstar’s policy on PC mods hasn’t changed. When the recent update rendered certain mods unusable, it was an unintentional side effect. The only thing Rockstar is concerned about is the use of GTA Online mods that could alter the experience for other players. Single-player mods are still welcomed and celebrated"

"third parties to defeat security features of its software and modify that software in violation Take-Two's rights."
