Fun little puzzle game, with some really nice scenery and excellent lighting. Small enough that you could get through the game in one sitting, or just take it in small chunks, a few puzzles at a time.

Incredible noir-detective game set in a cyberpunk future where people are effectively immortal, but only if you can pay for it. You have to find out how and why a famous celebrity died a permanent death.

Wonderful writing, a beautifully depressing world, and interesting gameplay backed up by an excellent noir-cyberpunk aesthetic. Would highly recommend if you like heavily story-driven games.

Somehow, a fan-made side-story to Serious Sam 4 is formally adopted by Croteam and turned into something that exceeds Serious Sam 4 in almost every way. Better designed areas, better looking areas, new weapons and enemies, but still that excellent core gameplay of destroying hordes of enemies, backed by another amazing soundtrack.

Still the same great Serious Sam gameplay, with massive hordes to fight, and an absurd arsenal to fight them with. New to 4 are optional side objectives that can be completed for rewards, and a skill tree, though it's a little underbaked.

The one big downside is that, graphically, it's a step backwards from 3. More vibrant and much larger areas to play in, but awful shadows, horrible pop-in - even at its maximum radius -, notable texture streaming issues. Hard for me to argue that its detracts from the game - Serious Sam is all about slaughtering masses of enemies, not really about being beautiful to look at, but it is noticeable and quite jarring at times.

Overall, would absolutely recommend this game. Just install it to an SSD, or enemies loading in might just bring it to a halt.

Incredible writing serves to emotionally destroy you as you face the inevitable repercussions of your choices. Not many games are capable of tearing your own heart out.
