Kind of like FTL but with more interpersonal communication and work. A little slow paced in the beginning, but fun.

Civ 5 is a pretty solid addon to the Civilization series. Makes a few improvements over Civ 4, pick it up if it's on sale and you haven't played Civ in a while. Just be prepared to fall victim to "Just one more turn"... syndrome and wonder why it's suddenly 3 AM on a Wednesday night.

Update 2016: I still love Civ 5 - but I think 4 was overall better. Time will tell how 6 goes.

Update 2018: Still better than Civ 6 or Beyond Earth.
