But for realizies, it's a homage to old school Rogue-likes and the works of HP Lovecraft and Junji Ito. It's basically Call of Cthulhu meets Uzumaki but heavy on the Body Horror.
If you're squeamish or don't take body horror well, I either would recommend playing with some friends or avoid this altogether. It can be hard to get into but once you get the hang of it and get to know the characters you're playing, the Old Gods are no match for your logical gambles; your only true opponent is RNG. Although I haven't played the official release yet, but I'm excited either way as I do enjoy it and streaming it.
