Rimworld is a game about building up a colony of people, and building a spaceship to send your colonists into space in hopes to get home or to another planet.
During all this time of you researching the parts of the spaceship, the storyteller that you have chosen will throw things at you; Raids, Short circuits, Manhunting animals, or even an event that will surely be the end of your colony. All events, and why it happened have something to do with the storyteller, and all 3 (so far) storytellers are different.
But all of them will be unforgiving, which captures the exact feeling of trying to survive on a new planet.

Of course, most don't even create a spaceship, and just see how their colony will end up, which is fine as you're not forced to make one. In every colony you make, you can do whatever you want, create a story about a cannibalistic colony, one man with just his dog, Perhaps a cult?

In Rimworld, you're going to need a strategy to keep your colonists alive, as other factions will want you gone. but thankfully you have options to help; Defensive positions, Sandbags, Traps, and many more as you research.

In Rimworld, you can create a story, one different from the last, or even the next, and there's mods to help you change your story for when the last one meets its end.

The worst (or best) part of Rimworld is watching that final event.
Watching everything you've worked on get burnt down, an empire falling.

At first it hurts, but there's always saves to reopen.
Or it may be time to let go of the story, and start up anew.

Rimworld at first glance may not seem to have much to offer, but given the time, and the right mods, it can become more.

This game is amazing for graphics, it looks amazing and im still able to play it on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ computer with atleast 30 frames, the stealth is quite good but yet the enemies feel like they never give up looking so that is a plus i guess, but yet this game is buggy af, i had to restart my entire game because my character got glitched in a door and the game wouldnt let me select a chapter without crashing my entire game, even after i got back to where i was i quickly found out how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the autosaves were, they are always at the worst times meaning that you would autosave while opening a door so if you died you are now stuck. and most likely have to restart again. The game is fun, but yet this bug has pissed me off way more than i've ever been. Aswell as the enemies, multiple times it was immersion breaking as 60% of the time, they wouldnt even notice me even if i was standing infront of them

This game really does not seem worth my time nor worth my money, and why do i say that?
well the sensitivity is god awful in the beginning (found out in order to turn it up or down you have to go into the title screen, which means if i put it too low or too high i have to go back every damn time) and it wasnt even too scary at all.
I may just be jumping to the conclusion too quickly (considering i only have 8 minutes in total) as this game may get alot better later on but im not going to waste my time playing it.
It does seem somewhat interesting but i would rather get scared while playing this, instead the jumpscares are as cheap as a flash game jumpscare. Not in the sense that it makes a loud noise suddenly to scare you, but instead its too quiet, like way too quiet i've even tried turning up the volume for it to be louder but it was still far too quiet. If your looking for a scare, this game really does not seem fit for you.

Overall this game can get intense when you least expect it (unless you've played the game alot)
When one of your people (or teamates) dies, you actually feel the pain that the ingame characters are feeling, but if your thinking about livestreaming a game, i wouldn't suggest livestreaming this game, as its more fun to play it than watch a livestream about it (unless you're just checking out the gameplay)

Early Access Review
This game is extremely fun to play in the beginning for the exploration, first time i played this i enjoyed the scenery and gameplay, there are still many bugs in the game but then again it is an early access at the moment, and their still updating this game fast.
(I would only suggest this game if your into Inventory Management and Survival type of games)

EDIT: The game has changed alot since the "Life in Technocolor" update, and to be fully honest the game got abit worse, no longer is it "inventory management" but now it goes off of how many pounds you can carry which to me has ruined the aspect of the game, infact the game used to be 32.99 but now they changed it to 63.74 which while the game is still in early access, its a very bad price, DONT buy this game for $60 and expect a very good game while its in early access. wait until full release on this game before you pay more than $60

This game used to be "Overwhelmingly Positive" now its just "Mostly Positive" and whys that? because Compulsion Games decided to team up with Gearbox to make this game, which the greedy f**ks raised the price, its not Compulsion Games' fault the blame is all on Gearbox

In the end, if they didnt team up with Gearbox, the rating would still have been "Overwhelmingly Positive"
