if you really become interested in this game, you'll want the licensed characters and perks which will end up costing you roughly $130 usd on no sale. on top of that, if you want all of the characters locked behind the iridescent shard currency, you're gonna need to drop about 1,000 hours playtime. Also, the skin rarities mean nothing except the dollar amount it will cost you, meaning you have no clue if your max price tag cosmetic will even get a unique voiceline while others might. that being said, i've just about got there myself and managed to get pretty much paywalled character during large sales. game is monetized as though its a free to play game, even though its a $20 game and is still monetized worse than f2p games. good luck

As someone who loves a "looter-shooter" I became thoroughly addicted to Cyberpunk 2077. It's a beautiful game that initially left me with some disappointments after hearing massive promises 4 years ago. I can happily say that the game, nearing 2025, is damn near flawless. Stunning graphics, story line, characters, and environment. From the grit of Night City, the wasteland that is the Badlands, to the ghettos of Dogtown, I can never get enough of the content from every area, and find myself invested in every piece of this game. Searching every nook and cranny of the map feels rewarding rather than a mind-numbing grind. My only complaints fall within the soft-lock that comes with some missions in gatekeeping areas after they've been completed, as well as the control scheme, I wish they would allow me to unbind specific actions, and/or double bind actions. There's also some minor bugs left that won't allow you to call in vehicles, or sometimes even access weapons. However, the ladder can easily be fixed by simply saving and reloading or sleeping with a JoyToy. I personally recommend adding a few QOL mods, but I promise you will have an amazing time regardless with the base of Cyberpunk.

Amazing game to piss your friends off and then make up literally 2 seconds later... That being said, we all love it.
