This game was cute, then it just kept going and I got bored.

I don't normally make a rage review, but I hate this game.

Dust is an action platformer in the "metroidvania" style. I really enjoyed this game. The story has melodrama, and lightheartedness. The combat is awesome, but repetitive at times. There's a bunch of pieces I could nitpick at, but when it's all said and done I not only enjoyed myself, but also embarked on more difficult playthroughs. Overall, Dust is worthy of attention and I'm proud to back it. When you play it, say hi to Haley for me.

I recommend Bastion. It is worth your money.

The game is very story driven, and while sometimes predictable it still has some good twists. Combat is not very rich, but it is rewarding. Levels can feel linear, but very well designed. At first the game may feel two easy, but as you progress you can add mechanics to ramp the difficulty. I increased a few things, and found the game suddenly the challenge I wanted it to be. Anyway, what makes this game really shine is Rucks, the narrator, as he comments on what The Kid, you, do while playing the game. The story itself is well told, and I'm happy to say there are at least two parts where I really, really dug the atmosphere. I mean when I heard Zia sing? I just sat there, and listened. I have not yet, but I'm definitely going for the "New Game+." I mean, wouldn't you want to see the other ending?
