So I really wanted to like this game.

The bugs I can sorta get past. The graphics that feel a little last gen I can live with.

But this game is boring and shallow. Sure, there are all kinds of worlds to visit. But they all just have the same handful of features cut and pasted from each place on them. There is no actual sense of exploration. Sure, people complain about all the fast travel stuff, but what does it matter? There isn't anything to explore anyways.

The ship builder is fun, but also really annoying to use.

The game feels like it should have had so many features that just didn't happen.

When your game requires modders to actually make the game fun you've messed up.

So maybe take a look at this game in a couple years when the price is cheap and the mod community has actually turned it into something fun. But for now I wouldn't encourage this game. It's a lot like No Man's Sky when it first came out, boring and repetitive.

But hey, at least one good thing came of it. I finally got over FOMO and this is the last game I'm going to bother pre-ordering it looks like.

Whatever people say about the whole Epic thing.. this game is still one of the best. Lots of fun, great looter shooter.. and the only real problem was the controls being a bit of a pain. But I remapped em to my MMO Mouse and it was no problem at all.

Honestly, what can you say? This game is the best farm / relationship / combat / time waste similator out there! I mean, seriously, this is the best game ever. Plus you can tell the developer put a lot of love into this game.
