Excellent game for anyone who enjoys RPGs! Big recommendation from me!

Played through it with a friend, and currently doing a solo playthrough. Both have been extremely enjoyable in their own rights. The companions and story are engaging thanks to all the different ways you can handle situations. As a fan of tactical combat, that aspect was pretty enjoyable too! I definitely appreciate the hard work by the devs to make the world and characters react to the actions of the player, whatever insanity that might be.

However, I have some gripes of my own, which include some of the bugs that you still run into from time to time, but the devs have been pretty good at providing continuous patches to fix stuff. I also think that in general Divinity 2's combat was slightly more enjoyable due to not being tied to the whole short/long rest mechanic, which allowed each encounter to stand on it's own feet better. Another thing I kind of wish was that the different party members could chime in with dialogue options regardless of who started the conversation, because sometimes it feels like you miss potential dialogue simply by initiating the dialogue with the "wrong" character.

I've had a great time with it and besides my nitpicking, overall there's very little to complain about with this one, and you'll find a lot of value for your money!

One of my all time faves!
Even though I've played through it many times, I still love coming back to it from time to time.
The game doesn't take itself too serious and offers plenty of challenge.
Get it if you enjoy hack & slash games!
PS. Highly recommend to play it with a controller

If you are looking for a chill farming game, turn away, for this is definitely more of a short story the developers wanted to tell in an interactive form. Even so, the story they were telling was not for me personally, and was tied to the gameplay very poorly.

The experience is 3 hours long, it does not have any kind of tutorial (even though the controls are fairly simple), but the player is given no direction of what to do or how anything in the world works. I enjoyed the music, the visuals and the first half of the game where you just tend to your farm, but the way the developers wanted to tell the plot started forcibly taking control out of your hands at the middle-end part of the game, making it feel like there's nothing you can do but wait for the game to end, and in turn making the delivery and the impact of the plot they wanted to tell poor, so ultimately it feels like there was no point to anything you did, or the whole experience.

I can respect the effort they've put into the game, but I think they could've done this story in a way that makes it feel more impactful and relatable to the player, the plot that happens feels like the developers just suddenly decided now you're gonna have a miserable time and it's time for you to stop playing, by one day just disabling the ways for you to keep tending to your farm, and continuously ruining everything you try to achieve. It just conveys that you shouldn't even try to do anything. It could've been a story about perseverance, hope, coping in difficult times, and fighting nature, even if you ultimately fall..it would've meant more, it would've felt like you did your best, and you tried. Instead it makes you just feel like there's nothing you can do, but wait for your doom, and it was depressing.

The game leaves me in a weird place emotionally, and unfortunately I can't recommend it. But hey, if it's something you'd like to experience for yourself, go for it!

A game that is as brilliant in 2018 as when it first came out. Worth every penny.

Ever since the original release of the game, I've heard numerous times how good Okami is, but I never got the chance to play it myself until now. I'm so happy that this game was released on PC, so I got to experience it at last. It blew my mind how a game from so long ago can still hold up this well, so if you're having any doubts about it because it's an old game, throw those in the bin. For a first time player it still feels like a modern game.

I've enjoyed every aspect of this game:
Excellent game design, music, story, characters, and visuals. Highly reccommend.

However, here's my pet peeves:
-The game can feel a bit too "hand holdy" at times, hammering in what you need to do before you even get to experimenting yourself.
-Sometimes you have to fight the camera.
-Game provides decent challenge, but there's hardly any real threat of dying.

This was an amazing introduction to the Shadowrun world and lore for me! The companions are very interesting with their own stories and outlooks on things, and the story of the campaign is great. Definitely reccommended.

Undertale is a unique experience worth experiencing.

The music, the atmosphere, the characters, the story, the gameplay mechanics, I loved all of them.

Before playing I wasn't sure what to think of the game thanks to all the hype and buzz surrounding it, as it usually leads to disappointment. However, I am very glad to say it did not, and I'm happy to have played this game.

If you're very familiar with gaming, this might be a little bit refreshing, and surely welcomed. I strongly recommend.

Freedom Planet quarantees a blast of a time with it's Sonic inspired gameplay, but it has more focus on it's combat mechanics and boss battles, which can offer quite the challenge! (grrrr.. that last boss.) Each character also offers a unique style of playing the game, which adds to the replay value. Recommended to anyone who likes to go fast, and kick some boss butt while at it.

It's you vs the game, nothing more, nothing less. A really satisfying experience.

Remember to bring your controller, would not suggest playing it with a mouse & keyboard.

EDIT:
Left initial review 2013, inspired by my friends I picked up my old save and finally beat the game in 2022. Take from that what you will. GG!
