This is how it should be done!

We're used to game studios releasing games with "Early access" a few days prior to final release, and sometimes we have to pay big bucks for it too!

In Path of Exile 2, "early access" really means early access. From what I can understand, we can expect to be in early access several months before final release.

Early access also has limited content, basically half of the campaign is schedueled for release along with the final release. Don't get me wrong, when I write "limited"; There is a ton of content, for many, many hours of gaming to complete. This game is ruthless. It's basically the Eldenring / Darks Souls of action roleplaying games. Playing can be very daunting and unforgiving on boss fights. Expect to learn the mechanics of the boss fights and min/maxing your character in order to progress in the game.

There are a few bugs here and there right now (during early access), but the game feels very polished and not like your average early access game. The sounds, the graphics, the mechanics and systems revolved around your character and the game make the gaming experince very immersive and you feel how much effort has been put in the game at this early stage.

Path of Exile 2 has the best character skill-system I've ever tried in an ARPG. 10/10 in terms of mechanics even though it looks daunting, it is very polished once you put time and effort in understanding it.

Overall - very impressed!

Excellent tool to track performance of your gaming system.

A lot of bugs, very often crashes. The gameplay is good though, when it works.
