Dark Souls III is much more comfortable to play compared to its two predecessors in terms of movement and hitboxes. The bosses are decent and various, so the difficulty is doable for most, but of course there are one or two harder bosses, especially in the DLCs. It is recommended to get the DLC's as it expands and embellishes the game with more items, more challenging bosses and areas. There are a large number of weapon types and thus again different methods of getting through, making each replay a different and new experience of the game.
For those who have played the predecessors, some things can be found again as well as some hints to the story of the predecessors. The story is again a bit hidden, requiring attention and indirectly hinted at, but if you are interested and inform yourself about it, you will find a great lore and some realizations.

There are only 2 small things that bothered me. First would be the grind required to level up the covenants. When playing offline the drop rate from the mobs is way too low so you sit at it for hours, and to do it online there are too few players around as you only start doing it at higher levels. The second thing only affects the PC players/keyboard players as in my opinion jumping, sprinting and rolling on the same key sometimes leads to unintentional movements and is slightly annoying.

In conclusion, Dark Souls III is the combination of all the good from the predecessors and forged into a doable masterpiece for everyone. A must have for anyone interested in Dark Souls and of course clearly a recommendation to play!
