Just going to copy a review here i made for this game during the 200 + hours i spent during the early alpha access (before steam) because it is still very VERY much the same.

In short i bloody love this game it's harsh it's punishing it's exactly how a tactical shooter should feel and nothing feels greater then getting a kill in this game so so sooo gratifying but yes it has it quirks the game that is as all do :) but developers are very hard working at each update no matter how quick or short they are inbetween each one.

but anyway here is my review for Squad from 31st January 2016 (That i feel is still relevant personally :))

"Squad is one of those games where at first you don't know what to do, but don't worry, because most will find the community of Squad is more then willing to teach new players and once you get the hang of it, you will never stop playing it. Much of Squad requires team work and coordination, which makes Squad very much a game of tactics and smarts. Having a decent and communicating team and squad, can mean the difference between victory or defeat!

Put simply, it's such an intense game that it will keep you on the edge of you're seat for hours on end! When you play Squad you feel like you're really there and that factors into Squads immersion. In fact Squad is such an exciting and intense experience that you will want to share you're own "war stories" with who ever will listen.

Playing on huge maps with 50v50 (Yes, that's right, 100 slot servers [Edit eventually? ;D) is great fun and makes every life, crucial to your team and squads survival. Cover each others backs and work together to get out of each fire fight you encounter, in one piece! If you're someone who enjoyed ARMA 2 or Project Reality, you will love this perfect blend of both.

Many PGL members were in the closed pre-alpha and even more have joined up since with the release of Steam Early Access and you can too! Those who play Squad at PGL can't express enough, how great this game is, so it's recommended that you give it a go yourself, if you like first person shooters where teamwork is crucial then you will love Squad without a doubt. To those who take the time to read this paticular recommendation this is my opinion and first thoughts of this game

This game is fantastic! i have not played a zombie game in my many gaming years as good as this, maybe even ever..! Dead Island is without any doubt in my mind the best zombie game to play for many many months i always come back to my old games and when i eventuly am done with this i will DEFFENITNLY come back to this and play it again intill my fingers bleed and my keyboard breaks.

Left 4 dead dont get me wrong is a fantastic game and i thourougly enjoyed there series and i still do as many would but i am paticulary drawn to this game because of its uniqueness the abilty to free roam on a island infested with zombies is just AMAZING combining this with a leveling system and strong boss type figures of zombies (Thug,Suicider,Ram Etc) as well as making the spawn amount and chance of them higher as you proceed more into the game adds a nice vibe.

Im a deceant sized fan of minecraft so when my friend told me to try this game i knocked it back and said "right just another pathetic rip off of minecraft" when i actuly got bored enough to try it, it was still ♥♥♥♥ but after a good 2 days in it really showed its true colours this game is by all means a 2d minecraft on first impressions but this game is also much more fun it enthralled me it has so many things to do instead of your hunt for diamond its more of a build a base add alot of fun and intresting objects and at the same time explore you have SO MANY things to explore you have dungeons hell & caverns plus much much more.. if you dug a 2x2 shaft you would no matter what find a cavern you find chests,boss fights,unique monsters all sorts of stuff to keep you gaming and happy for hours and hours on end this game is fantastic and unique in its own little way i highly recommend it.

Great fun recommend it to anyone who is in for a fun gaming experience tho i would not recommend it for those who expect this game to be serious like GTA 4 the diffrence between this and that is the graphics layout the gameplay and activitys in this game are diffrent and made more for laughs and stuff where as GTA 4 is more of an intense serious nice textured game with a more intresting story line and back ground.
