HOLE is a fun "rogue-like" single player extraction shooter. The game isn't long to complete/collect everything, yet it makes it up to you with a lot of replay value. Would be lying if I didn't say I wish it had more content, but for 4.99€, I sure have no complains.

If the developer reads this is review: I WANT MORE! More of everything! (and perhaps some optimization)

This by far the best hero shooter of all time. And it's a shame Valve is allowing it to die to bots and cheaters.

Snagged at 50% off, Outriders is a looter-shooter worth considering, albeit with some reservations.

### The Good:

- **Fluid Gameplay**: Exceptional gunplay and movement.
- **Engaging Story**: Though somewhat clichéd, it's enjoyable.
- **Difficulty Scaling**: Well-balanced up to "World Tier 10," then becomes challenging.
- **Level Design**: A good mix of closed-world settings.
- **Side Quests**: Quite enjoyable and add depth.
- **Post-Game Content**: There's something to do even after the main storyline.

### The Bad:

- **Always Online**: A major drawback that could be a deal-breaker for some.
- Raises questions about long-term playability.
- A pause feature would have been a great addition for solo players.
- **Minor Bugs**: Nothing game-breaking, but worth noting.
- **Replayability**: It gets somewhat dull after completing all difficulties.

### Final Thoughts:

Grab it on sale; $40 might be a bit steep for its long-term viability. It's more fun with friends but holds up well as a single-player experience, minus the lack of a pause button. If you've already enjoyed other looter-shooters like Borderlands or Remnant, add this to your list. Otherwise, you might want to start with those.

Good FPS mechanics, great humor

Overall it was a great experience, but not without it's hiccups.

Now I love Justin Roiland's humor, having said this a skip button to some of the dialogue would be greatly appreciated, specially for a second playthrough. I found myself way to often begging to skip the family drama dialogue part to get back to the action (a good and a bad thing I guess).

The shooting is pretty good, for this studio first FPS, Bethesda has been doing Fallout for years and there shooting mechanics pale in comparison. Now it ain't Call of Duty or Battlefield, but it doesn't get any complains from me.

Now from the world, to dialogue everything was great, I found myself whizzing laughing at the small details and secrets spread out through the levels. Also there's a movie theater with full length movies, WTF...

Ending with some of the bad things:
1. There were some bugs nothing game crashing, but at times quite annoying.
2. I hate so much the collect every collectible achievement every game has and this one is no different, I know the idea is so you explore the world, but there's a radar indicator when you're close to one and you'll be more glued to that radar than the world itself at times.
3. It lacks replay-ability, you finish the story and the one thing you have left to do is explore the world. Given the game, some procedural generated bounties would kind of be expected after you complete the game, now enemies still spawn, when you're out exploring, after the game ends, but it ain't the same thing.

Despite all this, I found it to be quite the entertaining game I recommend it to anyone who likes Rick and Morty or Solar Opposites. For the lack of replay-ability though I would maybe recommend waiting for a sale, also meanwhile maybe they fix some of the bugs.

TL:DR: Solid FPS with great humor, has some annoying bugs but nothing game crashing.

A non-tactical fan review
Reviewed at 5.6 hours

I was never big on tactical games, but this game came has part of the Humble Bundle monthly and I decided to give it a shot. This a review from someone who doesn't understand the tactical game genre. I had a pleasant surprise playing XCOM: Chimera Squad, my only previous experience with XCOM was the "The Bureau". I love the comic book art style the game has, the gameplay is also very fun even if I feel I am not getting 100% into every aspect of the game I still could go through the levels, and have fun with each one. Also love how every character has it's unique voice over.

[TL:DR: I had fun with it, and ain't big on tactical games.][]

Lovecraftian Roguelike
Reviewed at 6.9 hours

Lovecraft's Untold Stories is a cool rogue like to kill the time. I can't hail has being one the best roguelikes I've ever played but it's ok. Animation and pixel art wise the game is pretty basic. The controls work pretty nice, and offer a smooth playing experience. The best part of the game is of course it's lovecraftian elements, if you're a fan H.P. Lovecraft lore you'll have a fun time.

TL:DR: A nice little Lovecraftian horror rogue-like. Would buy it on sale, it's an enjoyable experience.

A perfect trilogy ending
Reviewed at 42.4 hours

Batman: Arkham Knight is a great ending for the Batman games trilogy. I am of the opinion that you avoid games with movie IP (and vice-versa) like the plague. But Rocksteady has proved me different, the whole of the Batman trilogy has been a wonderful experience. Arkham Knight itself improves on the past 2 games, combat is more fluid, there's more characters to play although the big Bat is still the star of the show. We are introduced to the bat mobile for the first time. The story of Arkham Knight is just very well written, and it kept me playing even when some of the mechanics got repetitive.

TL:DR: If you've played the last 2 titles, this was one is a requirement. In case you haven't though it's a great story on it's own and a whole lot of fun to play.

Another great Batman game
Reviewed at 14.4 hours

*"Batman: Arkham City" has been a great experience.* The improvements from the previous the title are quite staggering.
Not only from a graphics perspective, but also the new features introduced.
The graphic enhancement is quite impressive. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the previous title, but the graphics felt quite outdated. Yet if you haven't played Arkham Asylum, the story alone makes it quite worthwhile.
On mechanics, it feels like has a player you've a lot more freedom to explore the game. Not only the Arkham City is obviously bigger than Arkham Asylum, thus it has a lot more to explore. But also the way it allows to approach objectives at your own pace.

Has for replayability you could play it higher difficulty and that's ok. Once again, big part of the is exploration and there's plenty of it to do even after you finish the main storyline. Also because the game tackles these secondary quests with a bit like a metroidvania. In which to get to certain areas and complete certain objectives, you'll need a certain gadget. For that you'll need to complete another goal, or progress further in the main storyline.
Finally the story itself, is the cherry on top. Another good tale to playthrough, and one of the best parts of the game. Not gonna say much about it, because experiencing it is one of the best parts.

TL:DR: The game's really fun, and story is superb.

Old Mechanic, New Features
Reviewed at 6.3 hours

Chances are if you're looking at this game you've played the first, and are wondering is "Superhot: MIND CONTROL DELETE" worth it? To put it simply yes. If you had fun with first exploring the time slowing mechanic you'll mostly likely will enjoy this one has the experience is a lot more flushed out.
There's a lot more levels, it felt like the first game was too short, this one is long enough. There's powers/skills that pair really well with the time slow mechanic. The story is a lot better tied together, although still confusing AF. Overall an enjoyable game and a great sequel to the first Superhot.

TL:DR: This game makes the prequel seem like a demo.

Murder Mystery on the High Seas
Reviewed at 12.5 hours. Perfect Completion.

Playing the Return of the Obra Dinn has been an amazing experience, it's a puzzle game like no other I've ever played or even seen. All you know is you're detective and you've must solve the mystery aboard the Obra Dinn, the game delivers clues through a combination of text and voice followed by a scene of what you've just heard. And it's up to you to solve the rest. The game has great moments of deductions, where you'll feel like Sherlock Holmes putting all the pieces together to unlock the truth. Plus the 1-bit graphic style in this game is amazing, you can change color scheme if you which (but it's always 2 colors). Overall I'm really glad I bought this game, it's a experience like no other. This game has easily become one of my favorite games of all time.

TL:DR: A murder mystery where you play detective, unique art style and a fantastic story. Truly recommend to anyone.
