Well, it's Skyrim, you know?
It's been around for 10 years, it's still selling like hot cackes, you can probably play it on pregnancy tests these days.
It's like the best game of its kind. Damn, I wrote a bachelor thesis about back in 2014 so good it is.

Absolutely not beginner friendly.
I'm familiar with american football, but I never played the Madden series, and I had a really hard time playing it even on lowest difficulty.
And I couldn't find a proper tutorial.

Early Access Review
It's a nice game. It's a very early access, so bugs are expected, but it's playable. The community on Discord is helpful, which is a big plus.

Some things should be changed though. Most of all, you lose control over the character too often, and no player likes it. Unskippable tutorials, cutscenes, and animations take too much time. Narrative part is important, but it's being pushed on you too hard, especially when you replay because a save file is corrupted by a bug.

And please, make it possible to have multiple saves. Sometimes I need to check if something is a bug or a misunderstanding on my part, and I don't want to wipe all my progress by starting a new game.

Still, I'm sure this game has a bright future ahead of it. Devs, keep up the good work.

UPD 6 month later: it's nice to see how the game is evolving. Though I'd still love to have an option to skip the tutorial phase, new content is coming good.

A lovely game. Rich in content, stylistically consistent, captivating. A must have for anyone who liked Stardew Valley.
Managing the farm and production part of workshop becomes a bit tedious over time, don't expect a whole lot of automation, but exploration/quests/relashionships part of the game is really deep and worth exploring.

It's enormously hard to master. But you will still try to survive, and fail miserably every time.

Although, jokes aside, with updates the games became much more newbie-friendly, so now even if you're not a hardcore base-builer - you stand a chance.

A must have if you like sandbox, survival, and base-building games.

Tried this game when it first came out years ago, and even though it's superb, for me it never beat Terraria. Probably because of not-so-friendly mecahnics of the engine.
Still great though, recommended it to many people IRL.

Гениально. Новое слово в игростроении. Rockstar с RDR2 просто плачет, они не продадут больше ни одного диска.

Played it first in 2011, and then kept coming back every other year to check out what's new. One of the all-time favorites. I wish they didn't cancel the second game they were developing.

With the new Journey's End update, as expected, it became even better.

Highly recommended for anyone who likes sandbox games with a healthy dash of RGP and exploration.

Solid 10/10

It's a Fallout, baby, there hasn't been a bad Fallout since like, ever, so it's totally worth spending some hundred hours.

Played it since the release, so it's way more than my counter says.
