Being a fan of Sonic is self-induced torture. Spark 3 frees you from your own shackles and opens your eyes to having fun again. This game completely scratches the itch of wanting to run fast, look cute, and be cool. Combat is awesome as well.

gameplay wise, the stomp mechanic is what separates this from nuclear throne and gungeon. stomping enemies lets you chain bounces and you are invincible for the whole duration. this lets you get some breathing room while still being in the middle of an intense group of enemies. you just have to be ready to go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when you land. the main character's passive lets them do a massive shockwave when you chain multiple stomps which is very helpful for clearing multiple enemies.

the art and animation in this game is amazing. the pixel art flows and the colors pop. the animations combined with the art make the gameplay extremely satisfying. you can really feel the weight behind a huge attack. it is also very colorful and nice to look at. all the weapons have fun reload animations and there are tiny little details all over the maps. it never feels visually distracting as all the enemy attacks are clearly outlined in bright pink.

i think i'll be playing this game for a while, it scratches that intense bullet-hell rougelite itch i've been craving after playing long runs in nuclear throne.

just play fortnite, the building isnt that bad

highly optimized port for pc. no frame tearing or drops during the fights. great job, will update review when i get better at the game

change the difficulty if you want different types of fights. great game to pass time.

Lots of fun with and without friends. Just wish they would add some more missions.

tycho's voice actor is trying way too hard

telling people from league and dota that smite is all skill shots really shuts them up fast

bought it to ♥♥♥♥ around on stream but it turns out its actually a really good game. ur gonna lose steam friends tho.
