Definitely worth a try even if you're not interested in space stuff! Incredibly easy to learn and if you are having a hard time as a beginner, there's different game modes (career, sandbox, science). There's also a huge mod support and the community and developers are awesome! The devs really communicate with and take advice from their players, which is awesome.
