So the game has a lot of flaws that can be fixed with mods however the amount of hassle that can sometimes occur from mods interfering or turning off a mod without having the magic knowledge of how to do it "correctly" now im no wiz at computers but fallout 4 is super unstable with out knowing how to properly install all the bug fixes and such.
BUT the thing that bugs the ♥♥♥♥ out of me is the fact you cant remove trash or debris from your settlements without mods and even then it messes with a bunch of other ♥♥♥♥ and makes you regret even trying in the first place.
MY DREAM would be to be able to not only clean up settlements and the streets of debris but to be clear change to the world as things start looking cleaner and the rubble is removed as a constant reminder of destruction maybe even have a broken window philosophy start taking effect and raiders stop attacking cause it looks to nice to feel comfortable.
I just want a janitor whos a hero for everyone silently and makes people more comfortable and less paranoid through the simple act of things being clean.

This game is for those who want to feel the catharsis of cleaning and refurnishing and replacing old with new and the variety of jobs available even in the base game with no DLC however the DLC has never felt like a disappointment as even ones i was less excited about like the Garden DLC are well fleshed out and have a decent amount of levels to help you understand and show you what you can do with new stuff it gives you. one of the only features i feel is a bit weird is the restoring furniture which is mission specific and while its great there, i would love if it could show up again but is about restoring more delicate or more involved like deep cleaning/restoring a couch ,old leather recliner, beloved blanket, or a decorative toilet, sink, fridge, etc... Also there should be a way to search up what item your looking at so its easier to replace. WALL TILING IS WAY TOO SLOW even with the upgrades and it deters me from using them even when i want to. Maybe a undo button that lets you go back up to 10 minutes or a way to reset the level if you need too. There should also be a way to access houses you've already sold and modify them or just hang around. OVERALL REALLY GOOD GAME it's a chill time and the music is good about not being bad to the ear.

ok so me and a friend started playing this and i gotta say it takes some getting used to. the feature were you slide down inclines to reach places faster in style is really sweet. we haven't gotten that far yet but so far there is a learning curve when dealing with all the printing and what to do with all the stuff you collect. the ability to flatten out and build terrain is a bit finicky but its overall a cool feature that helps out when you make a mess of the place by gathering resources or scaling large drops, caves, and mountains. from what i can tell once you get further in the game you can separate yourself from the tethers for longer and you can increase your gathering capacity through things you craft to attach to your pack. this game does feel clunky but i find that using the mouse to pick stuff up makes things a lot quicker but for the most part i use a controller. the camera sometimes is annoying when picking up stuff and moving it. this game is fun with friends and from what i've seen on the internet there is a over arching goal and like thing to work towards dealing with visiting and exploring the rest of the planets and that seems like it could be fun and gives us an in game reason to explore and keep playing. also you can find other tech scattered around the worlds like work lights and things for the pack its nothing super good but its kinda fun to feel like you just got a freebie at the beginning of the game and over time you can discover other larger tech that you need to figure out so you can find out what it does which is a cool natural way to increase your exploratory nature and understanding of the games mechanics. overall this game is really good at getting you to gradually understand more and makes you want to explore more whether it be because you need a new material you haven't happened across yet or getting an upgrade to your pack or just trying to figure out what to do with this thing that looks somewhat important you found and then trying to make things easier for travel and collection. its not like minecraft and its not as simple as minecraft either its a game that has an overarching goal that isn't in your face and you learn about as you play the game and the goal is entirely optional but you work for it because it seems to be a cool thing to do and makes you feel accomplished for doing it. this game feels a bit clunky and the learning curb can possibly turn away players but if you tackle it with some friends its a good time as you help each other out and having the information be gathered by each person figuring out little bits and sharing them makes the experience that much more fun. overall good game but some tweaking and such could be used concerning the floating terrain shards from terraforming

this game is made for a certain audience but i feel this game has writing that we take for granted because this series has had great writing and presented itself in away that respects your intelligence and has a certain way it carries itself never being too serious but the stakes are always present it's a mix between the real and the fiction like it's always been so the characters feel real and while you only have like 3-4 endings in a character it's not really about the gameplay but rather the story you somewhat participate in which has always been the aim of simulators like these but it doesn't use the usual cliches and aims to have the main character act like a reasonable and slightly clutsy person who only searches for the same thing you bought the game for (FRIENDSHIP) this truly is a pesterquest
