this is somehow one of the most beautiful games i've ever played. the art direction and soundtrack are INSANELY good. ill update this review with more thoughts later maybe i just had to get that out there

with all of the incredible games that came out this year, it was an utter shock when i came to the conclusion that void stranger is my game of the year. i highly recommend not reading the review further and playing the game. take my word for it.


system erasure once again elevates what a video game can be by pushing the boundaries of what is possible. much like their first game, zeroranger, this game has some meta elements, although they are much more obvious from the get-go here. couple that with an amazing soundtrack, exceedingly creative puzzles, endless secrets, and an interesting story, and you have a great game on your hands. but what separates void stranger from other games is something i simply cannot aptly describe in my review.

there is a lot to this game. much more than you would believe at first glance. this game never ends. it took me 55 hours to come to a point where i was satisfied enough with where i was to stop playing. i have still not seen everything this game has to offer. and that is truly special.

system erasure is a studio that i deeply treasure. it is so obvious how much love and care is put into their games and it does not go unnoticed. thank you for making games.
