I love ARPG's, I spent more time with my Diablo 2 Amazon and Assassin than with any other real life girl (well, before the wedding).

Gathering all the experience I have in this genre, Grim Dawn is IMO definitely the best ARPG hack'n'slash game you can get right now.

Pros:
• Great graphics, visuals, controls, performance..
• You can choose two classes and combine VARIETY of spells and passives from huge skill trees, finding the best synergies between them
• Really deep "Devotion" passive skill tree to utilize your character even more
• Clever inventory system, many trade options (like fraction shop, where you can buy items as your reputation grows)
• UI is very good, many fights can be really tough (including bosses, legendary creatures..)
• Tons of different drops, including legendaries, set items etc...
• Huge enchanting system, with MANY runes/trinkets and potions/powders
• Storyline is nice with non-repetitive main and side quests (besides bounties)
• Difficulty level from Normal to Ultimate (experience penalty for death in higher dif.) including hardcore mode,
• Atmospheric soundtrack which really fits into the game
• Big replay value, due to unlocking more skills and quest as your reputation grows

Cons:
• You might think it's gay, but I really don't find any

Devs made (and are still making!) an excellent piece of art which I can recommend to everyone!

Review after 2,6h in-game time (lvl 5)

After remapping some controls and used to a bit bigger character camera view (I was used to grim dawn camera view) I am really enjoying this piece. I like the idea of looting multiple resources to upgrade vendors, altar (not only gold), also the leveling based on collecting blood of your enemies pretty nice (and northern!).

It's pretty challenging, sometimes you really need to roll around enemies to not get under 50% of HP with simple fight, but I guess I like it more rather then holding RMB to get clear screen.
There are also "Trials of Gods", when you can "farm" different waves of enemies to get rewards.

Animations aren't perfect, but I'm not really into looking how he/she bends knees :/

Soundtrack is worth of mentioning too, it enhances the northern atmosphere and fits pretty well.

There are 2 main negatives for me:
First is longer buying/selling, cause you must drag item to vendor, confirm sell and also confirm what you get for it - I hope devs will make some option to change this.

Second negatives are missing tooltips while hovering over skill, so you must go to your skill tree to check what every spell does.

However, this issues aren't game breaking and I'm looking forward to whole content and future patches.
Definitely recommended for hack'n'slash ARPG game lovers :)

A fun to play tower defense game with nice cartoon grafics.
The upgrade system for towers is quite satisfying, as well as the rich passive skill tree.
Huge plus goes to replayability of the levels - you can choose from 5 different difficulties and a challenge mode.

Recommended to all fans of tower defense games and also for achievement hunters (easy to get, takes some time to grind tho)

Nicely drawn point'n'click adventure game about a kind but naive girl throwen into cruel, fairy tail world. I really enjoy the whole playthrough and fact that the puzzle and choices make sence and it isn't just random clicking on stuff.

I recommend this game for players interested in this genre, and also for achievement hunters (most of the achievemnts are unmissable and for the rest of them there are simply guides)

Interesting point'n'click horror adventure game, with quite good atmosphere and some typical puzzles for this genre. Ambient music is nice (I actually really like the soundtrack), visually it has reserves and jumpscares are cheap. The game itself is divided into 3 chapters.I highly recommend to read notes, otherwise you will have a hard time understanding the story.

I recommend this game only for players interested in this genre, and also for achievement hunters (most of the achievemnts are unmissable and for the rest of them there are simply guides)

After the first two chapters, I'm a bit disapponted:
- the atmosphere is less creepier
- puzzles are supposed to be harded but in fact I found them just more annoying
- the fear from unknown evil is gone, you are just running away from monsters

For the 3 first parts of this chapter I would probably give 5/10, but dat maze really made me frustraded and I just wanted to finnish the game. I hope 4th chapter will have more from the previous ones.

Atmosperical horror game with a bit of puzzles, which plays on your feelings of loneliness and unknown fear rather than jumpscares. The environment isn't very detailed, but it suits the purpose and with creepy ambient it's overall pretty decent piece.

Despite the fact it's a low budget game, with no real challenge, I recommend it.

Simple turn-based game with hexagonal battlefield. I like the cartoon style of graphics (similar to TD game Kingdom Rush, which I love) and I would be definitely playing it for many hours, if only it was't so short.
It's funny and catchy, worth the price. Also, it is good choice for 100% achievement hunters ;)

I bought this game in expectation to wander across the beautifully designed world while solving some mystery. I was wrong. My GF didn't let me play and with opened mouth finished the game all by herself. (NOTE: opened cause of impression of course). So, reviewed as a spectator, it was great but short game with gorgeous visuals, easy controls, eerie investigation and interesting, complex ending.

SImply the most entertaining pixelated game out there (for me at least).

Great music, challenging enemies and bosses (on high dif.) and some unknown magic of the game keeps me returing to this game again and again. The DLC Temple of the Sun is probably better than the original game, with even more epic music. The system of upgrading your character is pretty interesting too, you must decide what is more important to you, because there is not enough coins for everything.

Go and try it, this game is a jewel in it's category.
