Ending reveal was HUGE. It was a HARD puzzle and my head was THROBBING, but it all came together in the end. takes more than just balls to finish this game. Never played a game where you have the hint you need right under your nose before you even install it. 10/10 worth every penny.

Very nice little game. Looks pretty. Some things arn't intuitive but you can get through without any guides. story isn't amazing but good enough. Great if you want to learn allot about rice farming.

Edit: changed back to positive in light of Sony listening to the community feedback

Normally i'd give it an overwhelming recommendation, but the community manager gave us a new major order: downvote the game.

That said, the game looks solid, if a bit samey with only a couple of planets I could recognize. The ship and some of the designs are really cool.

The sound design and music are among the best of the best. Good voice acting.

Micro transactions are non-predatory an among the least obnoxious I have seen, as well as being well integrated into the games design and lore. game is a good price too!

Gameplay is fun and fast, once you unlock more options and upgrades and get practice you feel great and can take on the hardest challenges in the game with a decent team of friends. No grinding really.

Not as many people voice chat as i would like but most people are quite nice and even add to the fun sometimes with RP.

The plot/story is ever evolving, nothing special in itself but delivered in a fun way that keeps you coming back every few days as you get to participate if only in a small way, in deciding the outcome for everyone. Good comedy/satire mixed in.

Biggest complaint is that it is live service. It does many things well, but it is entirely possible to miss out on being immersed in the previous missions and thus miss out on the ongoing plot. I don't like spending 40 dollars on a game that can be radically changed or turned useless, but i have had enough of a fun experience to still say it was worth it even if it becomes unplayable tomarrow.

Captures the liminal horror vibe well, sadly its entirely incomplete and seems like there are no plans to finish it. If it was some 2-3 dollar experience I'd give it a pass but its very short in things to do for the price as well. still its the strongest entry in the genre so far that i have played so try it out if u want to.

Fun Indie game. Combat feels a bit stiff/janky at first but it is fast paced with minimal need to retread the same ground after you die. Good difficulty. The textures are nice tho the rooms are a bit sparse feeling in some places, atleast until you find some of the more grizzly set pieces.
It could use allot of polish but you can def have fun with it if you like these kinds of experiences.

Early Access Review
Great fun with friends. Don't bother solo, and public lobbies are 99% garbage, seriously do not bother trying.

Very fun and well tuned RPG that doesn't drag it's heels!

For positives:
-Grinding is fairly painless but rewarding, and not really needed unless you want to have an easy time in combat. Lots of powerful feeling abilities and power ups that still don't trivialize the game unless you min-max or grind.
-The plot was surprisingly fun and well done even if I felt like the fumbled with the ending a bit personally.
-The main character is cute, cheerful, and fun. The side characters are pretty solid B+.
-Ok humor and decent sound effects and music.

for negatives:
-It does feel like some elements from being a mobile game with a time limit are a bit thoughtlessly carried forward and hold it back a bit.
-The English translation also has a few pretty obvious grammatical errors. Didn't stop me from following the plot but seems like an easy fix that any native English speaker could probably polish up. (example: MAG also being referred to as SPECIAL in some item descriptions lead to some confusion for me)
-Towards the end their are a couple of major reveals, and both seem to never be addressed again despite re-framing the entire plot in an interesting way.

Still the high praise is well earned, its genuinely just a fun RPG that doesn't waste your time.

A bit expensive for how barebones it is. The story is pretty basic and doesn't really tie into the show. That said if you get it, its a decent hack n slash, but it has very little replayability. The art-style and locations are actually pretty nice and honestly looks better than the show. The voice acting and sound are good despite a weakly written plot.

Ultimately the combat is dramatically less interesting if you don't have a full party so its a very conditional recommend: Only if you have 3 other friends who really like RWBY and don't mind paying 80$ collectively for an afternoon or two of content.

Solid choice for the genre. Get it if you are bored of similar games but maybe not as a first entry, there is allot going on its not always obvious what's important. Worth mentioning it crashes far more often than i would like.

Visuals: not a fan of character sprites but everything else looks pretty nice, not outstanding. A bit of jank where the pieces fit together sometimes.
Sound: serviceable but not memorable.
Story: the story isn't crazy interesting or deep but its more than most games like this provide, and it gives a bit more purpose to the farming. Still don't play this for a compelling narrative.
Characters: The designs are ok despite the art style. more chatty than most games.
Gameplay: There is a pretty good variety of plants and items for the farm. the combat is simple and a bit boring especially at the start. The town and world around it is bigger than i expected, there is plenty to do for many hours. The skill tree feels a bit too linear and most of the skills feel uninteresting or too weak to notice. The tool progression is almost solely gated by a pretty boring and linear mining grind.

This game could still use some more features, certain aspects feel barren next to the abundance of content in others, but luckily it seems to get meaningful content updates occasionally. If the story and combat were more engaging than the farming it could be in a league of its own.

Cautious Yes on this one.
There are plenty of puzzles with various mechanics that combine in interesting ways ramping up to real head scratchers. This is what it's all about and if that is what you want you will get it, but don't expect a plot or to be blown away by some deep lore.

+Often requires creative thinking and observation in addition to brute logic.
+Stylized and fairly nice looking map.
+Plenty of cool secrets if you willing to be VERY observant and put in the time.
+Relaxing and atmospheric
-Fairly shallow, allot of cool elements but they don't really culminate into an experience that i feel will stick with me.
-Could use more interesting music/voice recordings flesh things out and fill the large amounts of silence
-Nothing to really ties the map/word together and completing puzzles is rarely rewarded with anything other than more puzzles.
