cheaters ruined the game

Do yourself a favour and don't waste your time on this game.

It has a lot of potential, but a lot of problems as well. It has a shoddy matchmaking system. A system that will routinely put you up against seal clubbers with more experience and if you are not lucky, which is most of the time, a far superior vehicle. Then there is how often you will get bombed by enemy planes in ground battles, which will be too often by half, and which you probably won't get to do yourself, since you'll have to grind hard and long to have both planes and tanks on par.

And of course there is the grind. It will, with the best luck and every advantage, take you more than a year to get to the highest tiers. The highest tiers are where the fun is most likely to be had, since you have modern technology there, except... getting a vehicle destroyed means you have to repair it after the match and the repair costs are somewhere between annoying and prohibitively expensive. As in, you might have to have get a 5:1 KD ratio just to justify using a tank, if you plan on playing it again the match after it gets destroyed. Which it will.

Then you have maps that are shoddy on balance and incentivize passive gameplay. Or bugs with important ♥♥♥♥ like specific types of armour or bloody well everything once an update comes up.
