great game, which has the potential to become exceptional with some patches. gameplay is solid, the bugs are not as bad as some people make them out to be. ukrainian VO and music are exceptional

great game, full of surprises, best to go in blind, not knowing anything about story or mechanics

this is a pretty great little game to scratch that vampire survivors/20 minutes till dawn/etc craving. game looks and feels very polished.
even though there are not many different builds or lots of progression, but for it's price I'd definitely recommend it to play for a couple of evenings.

there is a lot of reading in here, but if you can get past this, disco elysium if probably one of the best, if not the best, story-driven games i've ever played and i've played A LOT of games

firstly, let's address huge elephant in the room: the queue boss

the queue is insufferable. you have to wait 4+ hours just to get in and the game can get you randomly disconnected while queueing without getting "priority" to get right back to your place so you just have to requeue from the bottom again

game itself is something like 7.5/10 for me, but sadly it is just a queue simulator right now and out of ~40 hours played on steam I've probably played aroud 10 hours total, this is hot garbage and unacceptable in my opinion

I know they added new EU servers, but no free transfer yet, so this option is not appealing at all

i am a fan of previous king's bounty games and, sadly, i can't recommend this game

the ui became a major turnoff for me in first 5 minutes of the game, in the character selection screen when i realised my mouse usage is quite limited in the menus(for e.g. simply hovering over heroe's passives does NOTHING, you have to click your mouse on the icon AND press a button on the keyboard for ability description to pop up, who came up with this lol). it's simply horrible and it either was not designed with you having a keyboard and mouse in mind, or the designer is just bad, REALLY bad

"okay, the ui is bad, but the overall game should be good, right?" - i tried to convince myself, but, alas, i was wrong

the movement in the world feels sluggish, horse is f*cking useless as it takes up several seconds to summon the horse and mount up
everytime you want to interact with the world you have to dismount(which you guessed right, also has stupidly slow animation) and it got me stuck a couple of times so i had to reload to despawn you mighty stallion
for some reason horse can't backpedal(reason that got me stuck) and it needs A LOT of space to turn 180 degrees

camera in battles is clunky and new highground mechanic sometimes makes no sense when my ranged units can't attack some of enemies' units despite clearly having a line of sight;
unit's abilities and the roster itself felt quite dull and uninspired although this point can be quite subjective
almost all of the interesting features(item leveling, rage abilities, marriages and probably a lot more i forgot about) of previous installments are gone

P.S. for some reason after roughtly 5 in-game hours the games started crashing every time in the loading screen, deleting/reinstalling/moving the game to different disk did not help, but this problem has resolved itself after a day or so

hades is one of the few good things to come out from this godforsaken hell of a year

this is one of the best rogue-like games i have ever played, and i've played pretty much all of them

gameplay, visual design (each character's portrait is a work of art), sound and overall "feel" of the game is superb

10/10 for me

P.S. greek gods calling each other "mates" never gets old
