I would call myself a Dead Space fan, for me personally it is a tradition to replay 1 and 2 at least once every year.
When i first heard of the remake that is is made on the Frostbyte engine and i was not pleased as i knew from experience that Games on Frostbyte look mediocre at best, but most time worse.

But now that i played it, i am extremely positive that i did.
The Game feels not only like a remake, more like a reimmagining, like the Studio put stuff that should have been in the Original but was not put in for either Time constraints or technical limitations.

It plays like the original Game with the differences that the Weapons will be gifted to you but you have to find them in the Levels, and you can free roam the Ishimura over the course of the Game. First i thought that might be too much, but it works actually like a charm.
Also they put alot more care into Characters like Nichole and even the side quest that are the Origins of the Hunter who looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scary!

My only big critics that said Side Quest seems to much like a drag, and the Game feels way easier than the Original. That might be because it plays from the controls alot more like DS2 and you have alot of freedom in the way you move.

No matter, after i was extremely dissapointed by Calisto Protocols launch, this Game truly Made us Whole again.


Small edit but i forgot to say that compared to my experiences the Game looks beautifull on Frostbyte!
