Very good souls like making high use of parry mechanics, with og Legend of Zelda style puzzles and dungeons. Combat feels smooth and polished, there are enough upgrades and different items/mechanics to keep the game interesting all the way through. Built in speedrunning and challenge modes are a nice addition. Charming characters and a beautiful art style. Characters could have a tiny bit more depth perhaps, and the spinning top using the same button as jump/double jump are my only criticisms. 9/10.

played 45 hours, and was quite enjoying it. the lack of quality of life features and the terrible character writing decisions ruined it for me.

pretty decent earthbound type game, writing is compelling, soundtrack is a bop, grid based combat is pretty fun, and has some challenging og zelda/pokemon style puzzles. definitely recommend if you want something to scratch that undertale / earthbound itch.

Reviews seem pretty harsh on this for the most part unfairly so. Its a Zelda-like with great artwork. The world is expansive, dungeons and combat are fun but difficult.

Pros:
Cute Windwaker/Ghibli Style Artwork
Nicely Scored Music
Expansive Map
Difficult Puzzles
Complex Dungeons.

Cons:
No Control Rebinds. (though default controls aren't terrible on a PS4 controller)
Combat Is Often Hard. (in a Soulsborne perfect reflexes type way- though some may see that as a positive?)
Puzzles/Quests Often Don't Have A Logical Solution. (feels like an og Zelda Game, where you had to ask your friend how to do something, before the days of youtube and guides)
Map Is Very Large. (Overworld map is vast for the size of the game, and the map is not the best)
Characters Seem Very Generic NPCy (No memorable characters, but again this is a dungeon crawler.)

So with that in mind, for the price, if you want an OG Zelda-like with cute artwork and intense dungeons I recommend it highly. If not, maybe this game is not for you.

pretty funny 8/10

Very fun, fast paced gameplay. Terrible anime trope laden dialogue delivered by famous voice actors is kinda funny. Soundtrack is good but a little repetitive. My controller keeps going dead on inputs randomly until I reset the game. Any fixes?

pretty mid imo. not terrible but not super fun.

sci-fi terraria, but not quite as good. modding community adds a lot though.
