This game is probably one of the best you can ever play after all of the updates. I've owned it since its buggy release and still enjoyed it, but after years of update after update, it really is pretty much a perfect game. Very intricate story, tons of side missions, gigs, scanner hustles. More areas to explore than you'll have the patience to, customization options with both your gear and clothing, tons of cars and motorcycles to buy, you'll just get lost in this game.

Best game ever

unintuitive slow gameplay, doesn't feel like a solid game.

Despite the somewhat mixed views, this game is seriously fantastic. The steampunk environment is huge and breathtaking. The story line, in my opinion, is perfectly fine. You look for your children in this messed up version of reality while going through many amazing scenes of machinery and puzzles. While I think the story line in The Dark Descent is better, the environment in A Machine for Pigs takes the cake with flying colors. This is a serious must-play for fans of frictional games and Amnesia.

The Dark Descent, old but gold. This game is seriously well made, likewise with all of the games from the developer. The story is extremely well done, puzzles are intuitive, and the whole aura of the game is incredible. I recommend buying and playing The Dark Descent at-least once in your lifetime.

I have not EVER played any game better than SOMA. The design is absolutely breathtaking and the story takes you to a completely different place. Absolutely no complaints, just a very very strong recommendation to play this game if you like psychological horror games. Even the toughest players will get their mind screwed with, this game is so grungy and creepy it

Dude. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. What a fantastic game. Best game -ever- made for VR currently. I boot it up time and time again and it NEVER fails to impress me with every new level I load. This is a serious next gen game, we don't even deserve this game. Just got a headset? Get Alyx. Seriously, it's the best demonstration of what a perfect VR game looks like. 60$? Yes. Think about all of the other games you have wasted 60$ on. Nothing this good.

Stuck in a rock, cannot get out. Tried knocking myself out, nothing. Game is not well made. Can't even join the server due to timeouts. Horribly optimized. Bunch of issues. Otherwise gameplay is good.

I'd actually prefer to play this game over everything new, there is an aspect to this game that nothing else can replicate. The combat system can be frustrating but very rewarding.

Holy crap, that update is amazing! Online mode, yes! Tons of overhauls to the GUI and aspects to the game, its come a long way. Would recommend.
