Not sure why so many people are giving it poor reviews. Seems more like people are just wearing nostalgic glasses.

Yes it's different from Amnesia TDD. Yes it's different from SOMA. I would say its a mixture of the two. Frictional Games has matured as developers over the past 10 years. As they should have. They have figured out what worked and what didn't from their past games. The original mechanics from TDD are there, but they expanded upon it.

I would say Amnesia Rebirth is their first step into something new. It's not bad at all in my opinion. The story is captivating, it's not like any other game I have played before. The horror is done well. There are jumpscares, but they are deserved. The eery atmosphere is done well. Keeps you on your the edge of your seat. Always taking it up a notch when you start to get comfy.

The sanity system is done a little different. I think its definitely more refined. At times I myself thought I was going crazy.

If you enjoyed the puzzles in TDD or SOMA, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. The puzzles are amazing. Especially when you have to solve a puzzle while in complete darkness, while you slowly are going insane, AND on top of that a monster is nearby. Some of these puzzles left me walking around in circles for longer than I would like to admit. It's a great addition to the ongoing horror atmosphere you are in.

Overall I think if you enjoy horror and most definitely the titles Frictional Games puts out you should give it a try. Its ambitious, bringing a new light to the horror genre. I am glad Frictional Games were ones to take the leap, and I hope others take notes.

So don't let the harsh fan boys of TDD turn you off from the game.

Give it a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I'm just putting this out there first that bioshock is my all time favorite franchise. So I might be a tad biased.

Honestly though I'm not experiencing any problems some reviews have been talking about. Game booted up fine and has been running smooth with an ocassional minor lag spike. Nothing to cry about.

It's been great to revisit such a wonderful game and my all time favorite game. Can't wait to finish. Gotten to the part where you meet your first little sister and chose what to do with the adam and have had no issues.

I bet 2K will be putting out fixes soon. The game was just released. Give them a break. They made 2 masters for us. Be appreciative of something.

I played the first one. But that was back when I wasn't into rogue-like's. Got into rogue-like's from Spelunky. BUT MAN HOT DOGGIE I AM SO SAD I DIDN'T GET INTO THE ORIGINAL BINDING. THIS GAME IS A MUST BUY FOR ANY FELLOW ROGUE-LIKE PLAYER. IT WILL PISS YOU OFF, IT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL ACCOMPLISHED, IT WILL PISS YOU OFF. BUT MAN IT'S FUN. BUY IT.

I have always been a huge fan of bioshock, probably one of my all time favorite series. Loved the first one more than the second but we don't have to get into that lol...

Bioshock Inifinite is just all around amazing. It's been years since I have been so impressed by a game like this one, it was well worth all the delays and the wait. They truely made probably one of the best games I hav eever played.

I recommend this game to anyone, no matter what kind of genre of games you like, it has it all. You will love it.

Oh and if youre wandering, I already beat it on Xbox, thats why I don't have much hours on pc. But I loved it so much I just had to get it again to play on PC, because I borrowed the Xbox copy from a friend.

YADA YADA YADA. ALL YOU GOT IS YOUR GUN. AND THEN YOU LAND THAT OOO JUICY DOUBLE AND YOU GET INSTANT GRADIFICATION.

COUNTERSTRIKE GLOBAL OFFENSIVE NEVER GET'S OLD BECAUSE THERE IS ALWAYS UPDATES ON MAPS, SKINS, NEW DLC, OR SOMETHING. I CAN PLAY THIS GAME FOREVER AND NEVER GET TIRED OF IT.
